Bannon lost his mind after he lost his job?  Typical incoherent and confused Trump statement.  Bannon's quotes are from when he was still in the White House.

 

Of course, Trump didn't explain why he remained in constant contact with a crazy guy who he fired.

I think Trump would have been better off just being silent, though obviously that has never been his strong suit.

 

Trump is no better than Bannon when it comes to trusting him to keep to the truth. So the fact that he says that Bannon hard little power, was rarely in meetings etc... is pretty moot, since we know he'll say anything that helps him (very similar to Bannon). So no response would have been better than trying too hard.

His mouth always overcompensates when his feathers get ruffled. 
He loves to punch back hard that is who he has always been but he KO's himself one punch at a time.
The back peddler in chief. Punch, back peddle....rinse and repeat.

Unfortunately the person that the writer is talking about (Trump) has also been "caught" in the past "making things up".

Who exactly is cheering for Bannon? Here on these forums specifically, or are you referencing some article?

 

I don't think anyone here particularly like Bannon. We just find it hilarious how their opinions of each other can change so quickly. Neither one is trustworthy. That was true last year, and it's still true today.

 

My wife and I were talking about the situation last night and very quickly she said "It sounds like teenage girls. One day they are your bestie forever, and the next day they are lying scheming POS". I think that is a pretty apt description.

On any other day, Bannon would be,.. persona non grata at a minimum.  But since he has been talking bad about Trump, suddenly he is believable.  

 

Surely others can see that Bannon may have an axe to grind, and is willing to make up stuff about Trump?

He is equally believable as Trump. Both have been known to lie often, though I'm sure both sometimes occasionally tell the truth.

 

While I can't speak for other people here for me this topic isn't entertaining because I believe Bannon. I haven't really read everything that he has claimed, or everything this author has quoted (and I certainly won't buy this author's book...). 

 

It's just entertaining how much of a 180 these two guys have taken. They've both spoken highly of each other in the past, and now suddenly they both think the other one is off their rocker. It's high school drama on a National Stage. Pure entertainment.

I join the crowd that both of them are liars and I would never buy the book. I don't need a book to see that Trump isn't quite right, I hear him talk nonsense
all the time with my own ears and read his crazy "policy" tweets. D.A.I.L.Y.
Can't stand Bannon, don't like the author and Trump is way out there in his own universe.

As to McCain, I still don't like many of his policies he stands for but I do respect the man. Nothing has changed.
