I don't think in Brazil the CO would have a different perception.. that's what I think. But it's an interesting input

Might give you an idea of the reason behind the denial based on what was said, and an idea of what changes need to happen for a future approval.

That's a very good point. I'm going to ask her all the details about her interview, maybe it will help!

yeah, we've been to the one in Paris before! this year we are definitely going to Florida, but maybe next time we can choose another country, so she could join us

thanks for the replies everyone. I will try to get details about her last interview to see if anything can be done to improve her chances. But really, all she can do is try. I will come back to let you know what the outcome was after she tries again. That might help someone in the future with a similar case!

I would suggest that she insert some information about taking 2weeks (or whatever) from her job in the “describe duties” box of employment if she can... letting them know that she’s expected back at work... and also being as clear as possible about who she’s traveling with and where she’s staying... it’s possible she can put more information into the actual application than last time about her ties to Brazil.
