N-400 January 2018 Filers

I am a US Citizen as of yesterday! What a happy day. Will someone update me? (originally MrsHopkins)

Oath ceremony completed in Jacksonville, FL. There were 40 applicants from 22 countries! Ceremony took 1.5 hours or so. First they have you take a seat outside of the place where the ceremony is. Then they make you form line and review your N-445 and GC. TIP: have your N-445 filled out, otherwise they make you have a seat and fill it out there, which you end up being one of the last ones to sit down (hence sitting in the back). Then as you come in they take your form and GC and everyone starts sitting at the first row and so forth. After that the supervisor reads off of a paper a few things to let us know of our new benefits, that voting registration will be there outside, that we can apply for family, etc. Then our guests come in, and sit on the right side of the auditorium. They start speaking and reading messages, there are some videos playing including one from the President, we sing the anthem, say the Pledge of Allegiance, then they hand the certificates one by one, which they allow your family members to come take pictures.

im new over here and have a question, I recently filed, And it says the “Completion Date is April 2020. Can this be accurate and also how do I know what is my field office?

That’s just an estimate they put, it’s not the correct wait time. I’ve never seen anyone wait the actual wait time they put. Don’t go by that. Mine was February 2019 and I am done as of May 2018.

Congrats! I'm still waiting.. Since my I 751 with CSC will be combined with N 400, I'm not even half way thru T_T

Congrats to everyone on their progress🎉🎉!

Almost got excited for nothing. Received a email about an update on my case but turn out it was about the removal of my Conditional green card that I received since September 2017 , not sure why I will only receive that email today 😩.

So something really weird happened on my USCIS account today. This morning i got a text saying there was activity on my case! I got super excited and logged in to see what it was but the update was for my Form 751 to remove conditional status on my green card. What's weird is that my conditional status was already removed and I got my permanent 10-year green card back in September 2017! And the update itself, even though i got it this morning, said

"On September 18, 2017, the Post Office delivered your new card for Receipt Number WAC1708150362, to the address that you gave us. The tracking number assigned is UNAVAILABLE. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Has anyone else witnessed this? Is it possible that there was an actual update to my N-400 application but the system is just messing up and I'll get to see it on my account in a day or so?

Would you know at interview if you passed? And how long does it take from interview to oath ceremony? My interview is scheduled for a Thursday and then there's a oath ceremony listed for the district court the next day. I was wondering if it will be possible for me to be scheduled for that.
