Your opinion does not surprise me as it is the opinion of many people in the world. I know a lot of people who feel entitled and as if things in life were their right. The world needs more humility. Citizenship is not a right. It's a benefit. So "providing the information required of you" is just a small part of this process. Why would you not make the effort of dressing up for such an important event? I always will. It always worked for me.

This is country of laws (see "rule of law" in the booklet).  If you meet the legal requirements, it is  in fact your right to naturalize. Humility has nothing to do with it.  Do you pay taxes?  If so, the government works for you, not vice versa.  This is a good time to think like a citizen, not a subject. 

 

I'm glad dressing up has worked for you.   But that doesn't mean it should be a rule for everyone else.

For people who had the interview in Orlando, FL office for N-400, how long is taking the oath ceremony to be scheduled? 

Another question, after the interview if I need to travel outside the US, can I? before the oath ceremony.

Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.

Just updated the list with my interview date (Baltimore) of June 13th. [I hope I copied it right this time] Interview is at 9am... does anyone have any idea if there is any chance of getting a same-day Oath at Baltimore. I've scoured a few forums and it does seems to have happened in a few cases but no indication of likelihood (I'm assuming its just a total lottery...?)

first of all, I wanna thank VJ admins as well as members for all the support and the helpful information during my Jurny since 2012 that always gave me Hope and shade of light.

sorry for the late update I was too busy with so many things.

here is my timeline,

Applied for N-400 during I-751 pending process on Jan-8-2018

The interview was on Feb-19-2018

The oath was on May-11-2018
