I wasn't asked for passport photos. They do the usual procedure of having you place your left and right index fingers on the fingerprint scanner, and take your photo.

 

As for scheduling the oath on another day, I haven't yet received notification of my ceremony but I also wasn't asked to choose a day, so I assume they just assign it to you.

 

I didn't have a pending I-751. The current status on my account says "You attended your interview. You do not need to do anything at this time", but if I look at my case history, before that status it has "We approved your application. We will mail you a letter when we schedule your naturalization ceremony", so it seems like those two statuses got added in the opposite order to how they should have appeared.

It took two weeks for the online letter to show in my wife's account

Hi Everyone ! 

I am happy to report that my wife's application got approved yesterday ! she had her interview in the Houston field office and it was easy.

 

I went with her but the officer told me to stay in the waiting room which was fine.  Officer only asked her 4 out of the 10 civil test questions and she got them right.  She read one sentence and then wrote it down.  The officer also verified her identity and asked her some questions in her application ( where did you go out of the country and for how long).  She was in and out of the interview in less than 45 minutes.  

 

we took more evidence but nothing was asked at the interview.

 

They told her the oath ceremony is on 6/20 but i am waiting on the letter as well. 

 

We are so excited this is all coming to an end!

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

Yes. My interview it will be on May 15. I filed paper and 5 year rule and I'm married with an american.

Hey everyone,

 

I have a question for the people who filed the application online. 

 

I just saw that there is an option to see your full application under the snapshot. I opened this document and was going through the form. I realized that the schools and employment section is missing answers. It lists all the schools I atteneded, but the employment information is not in the form at all. I remember very well putting the employment information during the application. Has anyone had any issues like that? Would this be a problem?

I remember very well putting the employment information during the application. Has anyone had any issues like that? Would this be a problem?

I made mistakes on my application and it was corrected at the interview. It’s nothing serious. Don’t stress over it
