She had the interview on Monday, on Thursday we received the notification that the oath letter was mailed, on Friday we were able to download the oath letter and the next Wednesday we received the oath letter in mail.

 

She had the oath ceremony yesterday in Chapel Hill.

Yes thank you so much. so her oath was about a month after the interview that is  great.

Tomorrow is my interview, I think I've memorized the answer to every one of the 100 questions.

 

This is my checklist for what I'm taking, let me know if I need anything else:

  • UK passport (and all passports UK and US for all the kids and spouse's US passport)
  • My green card and one year extension letter for ROC (which is now not valid)
  • Birth certificates of every person in the family
  • Marriage certificate
  • Beneficiary documents for insurance/retirement accounts
  • Car/home insurance with both our names on it
  • First and most recent statements of join credit cards/joint bank accounts and savings
  • Flights/hotels for one trip every year since our marriage year with our names and kids on it
  • Photos of us and the kids

I have to remember to ask for the stamp in my passport, any idea how long they put a stamp in it for?

 

Is there anything else I need to take to the interview? I'm on the 3 year rule through marriage with ROC pending.

Just got a case update my interview was scheduled on USCIS.gov waiting on MYUSCIS to update so I can know the date.

 

 

N-400 FILED FEBRUARY 11, 2018

BIOMETRICS scheduled for MARCH 5 however I did a walk in Feb 23.

April 29 your Interview has been scheduled.

Thanks for sharing. Have a great interview. You will need to schedule an infopass appointment to get the I-551 stamp. Having said that you can ask them if they would be able to help you. I am positive you will do well in the interview, regards.

A quick update....I received notification and email that my Oath has been scheduled...Wasn't expecting to get any update on a Sunday morning...

But still very happy to get oath scheduled so quickly ...Now waiting for the oath ceremony letter to get uploaded on my USCIS account....

I too went to the interview under the 3-year rule. I think you have a good list of documents. I would add (if available):

  • Tax Returns for the last 3 years, hopefully you guys are doing it joint
  • Health insurance cards with both names
  • Lease/Mortgage
  • Any other utility bills with both names

Everything else that you have is great. It is very arbitrary if they will ask you for these documents or not. My IO did not ask for anything, he said what I had submitted was enough. However, there was someone here that the IO asked to see more docs, luckily the husband was there at USCIS with her and was able to provide documents (If I am not wrong).

 

In sum, I would bring it all. Better be safe than sorry! Do ask for the stamp before the interview is over... Unless they do same day Oath - which you should ask as well. Other than that you got this! You memorized those blessed questions and you will nail every single one of them. Good luck!!
