I realized looking at everyones time line that my process seems to be a lot faster than most applicants here. It seems like interviews notices has only been given up to September/October filers. From studying a good deal of timelines here it seems that people who has been a permanent resident for 10+ years seems to have a much quicker turnaround. Anyone else has noticed this?

Thank you @JeanneSs @Nik0 @bibi_hey, everything went AMAZING! (Bibi, yes December 2014 filing AOS!! That's funny how we found each other again)

So, recapping, I arrived there at 6:45am for a 7am interview. Only the security guards were there, they told me to sit in a room to the left, with glass doors. I was facing to the back of the doors because I thought they were going to call me from the back, there was a back door. People started coming in and out and they did not call me. I noticed they called other people, from the glass door, so I turned back to be facing the glass door. Then a girl sat near me and started talking, she was also there for her interview. This was already 7:40am. I noticed everyone who arrived was taking a number with a receptionist before sitting in the room - please note this receptionist was not there when I arrived before 7am, nor did the security guards tell me to come get a number once she arrived at 7am. I go up to the receptionist who told me "Oh no" basically but she said she understood I was not informed and she called the IO. At that moment I freaked out inside, thinking I missed my interview because they didn't give me the proper directions. She told the IO I was there the whole time but I did not get a number because I wasn't told so, and he said it was ok he would see me now. She then gave me a number and I went back to through the glass doors and sat to wait After a few minutes the IO came and called me, and as we started walking I apologized and he said it was ok, he was reviewing my file anyway.

The officer was very professional, very pleasant and easy going. He had a relaxed demeanor which was really nice, he made it very casual but professional. First thing before I even sat down was to do the swearing to tell the truth. Then we sat down and he asked for GC and passport. Then we jumped into the test! Was I anxious for this moment, lol. The questions were:

1. Supreme law

2. Who vetoes laws

3. Pledge of allegiance

4. Who we fought on WWII

5. Capital of my state

And I cannot remember 6, sorry! But got it all right and then writing test was a sentence about the flag, small sentence. He picked from a list. He said I passed the test, then went on to review my application, asked all the questions again. Then he went over my eligibility, which is 3-year married to citizen, he asked if my marriage was still in good standing, asked if I had kids. Then he said "You already submitted a lot of supporting documents, I don't need anything else, your application is approved". Then I asked if they do same day Oath, he answered with "only for military". But he said he would give me the Oath letter there and then. We walked out and passed by someone's office where he dropped my file and asked if they could do my letter now. They said yes, then he walked me out of the area back to the glass doors, and told me to wait. About 15 minutes later, someone else comes out with my letter, calls my name and gives it to me.

Sorry about the long post! Wanted to give you guys the whole story... Please make sure you get the number when you arrive if that is the case with your field office!! I almost missed my interview for not knowing! Thank you, Jesus!!

Congratulation!!!

My local office is also Jacksonville. Is the "Resident Since" date on your most recent Green Card accurate? If not, did the IO raise any issue?

I noticed that people who are not filing 90 days early are more likely to have a faster processing time, but there are exceptions. I also don't know if it makes a difference how many years you have been a permanent resident tho, I think it's more about whether you're filing 90 days early or not

You have to submit all documents showing both your and her previous marriages have ended. You can travel outside as long as it doesn’t affect your physical presence requirements in the USA. Although sometimes they process these things pretty fast and your interview could be within two months of your biometrics.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I so appreciate that.

How long did it take for the oath ceremony letter to arrive via snail mail? Also is the oath letter uploaded onto the USCIS website similar to the bio metrics and interview letters? If so how soon did the letter get uploaded onto the USCIS website after a successful interview resulting in the approval of the n400 application. Thanks!

Answering my own question. The oath ceremony notice (letter) gets uploaded onto the USCIS website just like all the other documents. My wife's oath ceremony is scheduled for May 18. Her interview was on April 10 so it took approximately 2 weeks to get the letter

Hi Guys...Just a quick update...I had my Interview for N-400 at Philadelphia Office and Passed quiet easily...

My Interview was at 10:35 AM , I reached at 9:40 and after the security I was in the waiting hall by 9:50.

For Philadelphia filers...the Interview is at the 2nd floor, so after your security check the guards will ask you to go upstairs at 2nd floor.

One you reach there you have to visit the receptionist....she was very friendly and asked for my Interview letter. After checking in her computer asked me to wait next to door 2. The waiting started and I was finally called at 11:25.

First the officer made me take the Oath and then asked me to sit, then she started checking the information in her computer. The she took my photo again for the Naturalization Certificate and first index finger print of both hands. Then she asked for my full name, Date of birth, country of birth and verified in her computer. Then she asked me the questions:

1. How many senators are there?

2. Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

3. Name of present President?

4. How many major political parties are there?

5. Who is the commander in chief ?

6. What is the party of President now?

She checked the answers I said in to a paper, once all 6 were correct she stopped.

Then she gave me a piece of paper and asked me to read, "Where does the Congress meet"

After that she made me write the answer in a different piece, "The congress meets in Washington"

Thats it and the test was done, then she checked all my info....Current address, job, parents info, wife, kids info etc and at last all the Yes/No questions. Once all done she made me sign on an ipad type device placed in front of me for digital signature. I had to sign 2 times. Once that was done she printed the results and told me that  passed the Interview and she is recommending me for an approval. The gave me the N-652 sheet which was checked that I passed the civics and reading writing test and she is recommending me for approval. She then told me looking into her computer that I will receive the Oath letter in mail. She told me that she wanted to double check all the information she saved was done properly and told me again that i will receive the oath letter in mail.

I thanked her and was out by 11:55.  Once out of office I checked my email and immediately received two emails, One indicated that Congratulations, we are recommending your application for approval and other as We placed you in line for oath ceremony.

Now waiting for the Oath to get scheduled. I dont know how much time Philadelphia office takes to schedule oath, since i am not changing my name i guess it shouldn't take too long to get the oath notice.

Good Luck everyone with their applications.

Thank you, Botrosm! I am glad to help. So, I meant he went over the questions we answer yes or no, and he just asked if I had gone out of the country since I applied. He also fixed one of my international trips, it was wrong, he compared with my passport. He didn’t ask about jobs or addresses. Good luck!!!
