Not sure if this helps, but I completed the 5 yr requirements on April  14 , 2018. I filed on Jan 14th, 2018....     Today,  ( April 16, I got my interview notice) so maybe they schedule people around anniv time ? hopefully that helps anyone who's planning a timeline.

Congratulations, yay!!! Exciting to get these news... I was driving when I got the text, was trying not text and drive, had to stop and call USCIS!

 

In regards to USCIS scheduling you right after your GC anniversary, I think it’s not really a requirement. My interview was scheduled March 21st, and my GC date is (heeey) the same as yours, April 14th, but mine is 2015. My knterview is April 25th, so it is after the anniversary, which I also don’t think it’s a requirement, only the oath. I wish there was a set standart but in my opinion there isn’t! Anyway, congrats again!

And yes, I didn’t think it matters much , but I was just trying to map the timeline to see if they have any sort of logic we can go by.. example: one of my cousins got her interview notice a few hours after bio metrics. Same office .. so not sure how they work.. ps- my estimated completion date is dec 2018. Good luck with the interview !!!

Hi, if you don't mind, can you tell us if your cousin filed under the 90 day rule too? I am just curious to see if there's a correlation like you said between passing your 3rd/5th anniversary and processing times

Sure- she has been here for 7 years as a perm resident. I think the whole process took like 82 days.

Mine too, last week. I thought I could've done something wrong so I reset my password.
