I suspect this will be of interest to @ManoloMMAD since we're the only two Dallas filers. These datapoints seem to indicate that the Dallas field office is actually running at 7 months from filing until interview scheduling, at least for online filers, as opposed to their published processing times which currently stand at 15-20 months. This would mean we would likely hear something around June-July with regards to our interviews at Dallas. So it could be worse.

Another Brit in Dallas filer here too. I filed online early Jan, (1/11/2018). Filed as 5 year GC - I've been a PR for about 7 years. Still stuck on we've reviewed your biometrics

@uk2upstatenyCongrats! Did they give you the letter at the interview or did they just say you were approved, then your letter showed up online later? Everyone’s experience is different.

I was talking to my friend who just had her interview here in Jacksonville and passed, she told me because she will be changing her name her ceremony will be at the court, which I already knew. However, I thought Jacksonville only had court ceremonies. She told me the IO who knterviewed her told her they hold ceremonies there too, so the administrative ones. 

 

How is it at your locations, are both administrative and court oath ceremonies available?

Received my interview letter today. interview is set for May 15 at 7:30AM Los Angeles. :o

Happened to me with IRS PDF transcripts, which I downloaded from irs.gov. Workaround: make another PDF file with the same content, for example: open your PDF file in Chrome Browser, click File -> Print, choose "Save as PDF" as your printer. Choose a filename that complies with USCIS requirements, save the file, then attach it to your application.

@Davesings try using all different browsers, exporer is usualy bad. Keep trying it will eventually go through.

My wife interview was kind of tough, in part because she only took the essential docs (GC, letter, my citizen certificate) with her but not all docs that I had submitted. They were asking for our kids birth certificates and mortgage of our our house which she didn't take but I was able to whatsapp her. We though ours is a strong case with kids and shared house so we were not expecting it to be tough. They were also asking why she didn't change her name.

 

I would recommend to go with your spouse if there is any worry or concern, it helps, all they need is to see the marriage is genuine. I couldn't go because I had to baby sit our kids. It appeared to us that when you are living together, they seem to expect you both together.
