From my perspective, the old ELIS site is not misleading. What's your newest NOTICE listed there under 'Recent Notices', by date ? Do you have anything newer than the one corresponding to the FP notice ? The old ELIS site says 'interview appointment' for the FP notice as well, in case people are not aware. I have two notices, one informing me of receipt of application (12/16/17), second telling me FP appointment sent (12/26/17).

I've never misinterpreted the 'interview appointment' status to mean anything other than FP, unless there's a third notice newer than Dec 26 in my account. The status message applies to the most recent notice under Recent Notices, in this case the FP one.

Also, could you please post what I requested from the case tracker site ?

I think you are right. Old ELIS site is referring to biometrics appointment as "interview appointment". If you look at it this way, you realize that Old ELIS site and New ELIS site are reflecting the same stage but in different wording.

My case tracker site is stating "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS". I guess the case tracker site is the one that send text and email upon case update.

What does case tracker say when you create an account, log in, and add your case , and then it shows 'Case History' and 'Next Steps' ?

Hi everyone,

Today, I received an e-mail that my case was updated. Logged in, nothing was showing up, still “Reviewed your bio”. Called USCIS, and they confirmed my interview was scheduled, and I should receive the notice in 30 days.

Old website does show that interview was scheduled, no date yet available.

To my fellow ROC friends here with it pending and stuff, keep hanging in there! It will happen. Get a fast pass appointment, call them, keep trying until you get something.

Congrats to you MrsHopkins !

Hmmmm how confusing.  The old eGov sites says "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice", the new eGov site says "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS" and the new my.USCIS site says "We reviewed your biometrics."  No idea which one I should believe!

Same here, I just checked my account. They seems updated the site, it looks different. I saw the exactly same wording in Status message: USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice.

However I didn't receive email for the updating, and I checked on the case process site it still shows: "We actively reviewing your case".

Did you receive email update?

Case History is stating "We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , and mailed you a receipt notice. It is being processed at our Integrated Operating Env location."

and Next Steps is stating "We will prepare your case for officer review.  If we need more information, we will notify you."

The main screen is stating "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"

Hi all.. i would appreciate very much your opinion with my situation:

Miami Field Office

I e-filed n-400 on january 3rd 2018. Got  FP done on jan 9th, and received interview letter on march 1st. However, that same day I also received a letter from USCIS that states that USCIS descheduled the interview due to unforeseen circumstances.

Any thoughts? have any of you heard that before? should I worry?

thanks for the help

Hi almostgreen,

I saw a similar case on another thread, the person got her N 400 scheduled and then received deschedule. She found out later at her infopass appointment that her local office doesn't have qualified officer who trained how to do combined interview.

Wow, your ROC is 2017 with CSC already got approved. You have less burden than I do since I'm still waiting for both of them. According to some people's experiences in the N 400 interview with their I 751 pending, some field office can be very unprofessional to drag the waiting longer.

My ROC was in 12/08/2016, I guess I'll call them during my lunch break..

BTW, was your I 751 approval letter from CSC or local office?

Well, I’ve read that people had their interview scheduled even with a pending ROC, so don’t get hung up on the ROC. Yes, anything can happen, I think you should call USCIS and tell them you applied almost a year and a half ago, it may help! You gotta try.

My ROC approval letter came from Vermont Service Center.

N-400

May 24, 2018 - Oath Ceremony

I-130 for Mom

May 24, 2018 - Mailed I-130 for mom via UPS One-Day shipping

I see, your ROC was with VSC. I actually called USCIS today to verify the status message "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice. " The person said it could be a system upgrade problem, he didn't see my interview is scheduled.

And I also checked my I 75, he confirmed my guessing that the transfer update is a glitch that everybody receive it with the number used to be error on the site. He said can call back to double check the progress after 2 months.

Has anyone noticed, there seems to be an updated processing times site. At least it looks new to me.

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

For the Chicago Office, it's showing 11-15.5 months. Thankfully I know it's not true in most cases but still a bit worrisome just looking at it.

Yes I posted a USCIS memo in a thread I created a few days ago, describing this change . Its a welcome update, and has been done on schedule . I’ll update that thread as well .

I mixed it up with the ELIS site so there is no old eGov but rather it's this: https://public-prod-elis2.uscis.dhs.gov

Hi, that link does not work. :(

Can someone just write down all the websites/links where case statuses can be checked online, please? (if I'm correct, I found 3 different pages being mentioned, or perhaps even 4) I'm aware of https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
