Got juked by USCIS this afternoon.

 

An app I use to periodically check my case status said my receipt number had an update, so I thought maybe I'd gone inline for an interview or they'd even scheduled it already, but when I pulled it up the status was unchanged. Logging into my USCIS account also revealed no changes.

 

I got played.

Did you check the old site? I got the same text.. New site doesn't show interview scheduled but old site does.

I did.

 

The old site has said my interview has been scheduled for weeks now. I believe it's a holdover, and actually refers to the biometrics appointment, not the real interview. I think I've seen posts from others saying the same thing.
 

The old site is not accurate, and really shouldn't be relied on. The new online account is accurate, as is the case status site (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do). There were no changes for myself there either.

I went and did my biometrics today. Was a 3.5 hour drive for a 10 minute in and out experience.

 

They took a photo and my right four fingers and I was done, a signature and I wasn’t out of the door and on my way home.

 

My online USCIS account changed from August 2018 to June 2018 now. I wonder when my interview will be!

Wish I would have seen your post 7 hours ago. A few minutes ago, I saw the notification on the app and thought the same thing. Now I can't go back to sleep...

 

The elis site is down for maintenance, though...

Since we use the same app (I saw your screen shots) I'm not sure if it's an issue with the app or USCIS.

Today (day after biometrics) it has an update that they have reviewed it and went to July 2018 as the completion date.

USCIS sent me an e-mail. An update about no updates. This is what probably threw off the app..

I received the same notification last week but I did not think was a big deal because i haven't got my fingerprints yet. I am going this fridays\ which is my appointment date. After that I will be like a hawk everyday for updates regarding the interview lol.

I received two notices today in separate envelopes. One is the Notice of receipt for the check I sent them. That NOA came from USCIS National Benefits Center. The other NOA is my creation of online account.  I had to create an account online. After completing this I could see that they sent me a NOA for my Bio metrics appointment. But i haven't received that yet. The website said if I don't receive it by March 11 to click on a link and request it. So I guess I am now waiting for my Bio-Metrics letter.

I went to my infopass appointment today to get a 551 stamp in my passport. The officer I saw told me that as of February 7th I was in line for an interview and should receive one in about a month. My online account hasn't changed since biometrics 2 weeks ago and I'm not going to get too excited because the current waiting time for my location is about 10 months, but it would be nice if it's true!

I'm really hoping I get my interview before my ROC extension letter expiry, so I can get the stamp the same day. I don't want to drive 4 hours to get a stamp then another 4 hours for a interview.

Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

Yeah that would be really annoying. I'm lucky because my local office is only 10 minutes away. Good luck!
