Hi Guys,

We (Mr & Mrs) filed online on 01/12 and did a walk-in for biometrics on 01/19 in Cleveland. The officer was nice and let us proceed with the walk-in but did say that it can delay the process. Since we were already there, we decided to go ahead since we were originally scheduled for different days and had some previous engagements. My wife's status got updated online the same day (shrank from 7 months to 5 months )saying that they have received fp and are actively reviewing the case. My case status is still stuck on we have sent you a biometrics notice. Has any one else experienced this? The same officer processed both our fp's so it's weird that one person has been updated while the other one is still stuck. Does anyone know if its a manual process or does the system automatically get updated. I have the stamped letter showing that I have completed the fp but the system is still stuck and my case has not been updated. Copying below both our dates and I would appreciate if someone can add us to the timeline

did my bio today instead of 2/6 and it is saying that we sent you the bio notice. Case completion changed though it went from 13 months to 12 right after bio. I'm hoping it will update tmrw.

It will update tomorrow. Same thing happened with my wife, took a day to update. You can use USCUS case staus link to check as this seems to be updated sooner

My wife's updated on 1/20 and mine is still stuck as of today 1/23. Both did walk-in fp one after the other, same day

Has anyone had a reasonable estimate time?

I looked at mine today and I got my NOA and the estimated time for case completion is 7 months (August 3018). I looked at other people on the forums having theirs come up as 11+ months but saying the process is shorter. Does this mean mine might get completed before August?

My status changed to we reviewed your biometrics and I don't need to do anything right now. What does the review mean? Another estimate showed up " wait time 9 months" and completion is 12 months

So I submitted my application online on friday night and I still don't have any updates, like NOA or date for biometrics. I keep checking but nothing. Is this normal? It seems most everyone gets their NOA the same day as submitting the application.
