tourist visa ; Parents Attending wedding of a K1 Visa

Hi! I'm currently waiting for my Fiance Visa to get approved.I wanted my parents and my sister to attend the wedding in the US.What are some of the important requirements that I should prepare and the step by step process for their tourist visa to get approved.Thanks!

They file a DS-160 and schedule/attend an interview. They will be granted or refused the visa based on their individual circumstances and own merits (there's no sponsorship for a tourist visa). They should be ready to present ties to return home.

A letter from their employer (if any) stating when they are due back, bank statements, proof of property/housing, a travel itinerary (no tickets or prepaid hotel reservations should be purchased before the visa is in hand!), etc. It's really hard to pinpoint anything in particular as it really depends on one's individual circumstances.

 

The CO may not even look at any documentation as most information they need is in the DS-160, but if it's a borderline decision or something, it can help. So they should have it just in case.
