That is confusing, I thought Citizens had a shorter waiting time?

For everyone's reference:

Vermont: (USCs and PRs) seem to be on par.

image.thumb.png.1743af4706ae8ba43fc2ba8c1e45cf0d.png

Potomac: (Does not process apps from PR's)

image.thumb.png.b0861552d099345885ac86041daa1fd4.png

Nebraska: (Even longer wait for both)

image.thumb.png.b45b5adc8bc0f17bd849ef508f475930.png

California: (Process apps from PR's only)

All are for I-130's. I would think apps from US cits would be prioritized but that doesn't seem to be the case.

By the way I have nothing against PR's or anyone and I personally think that this wait times are stupid as they are. Everyone should be entitled to a speedy process and quick family reunion, particularly US cits...

:) We were assigned to the Texas Service Center. How about you guys?

This is how it's looking for us right now at the Texas SC:

I'm a Cit and the wait seems to be longer than for PRs.

We are Texas also!

I didn't know that it was a different waiting time for usc and permanent residents. I only just realised that last week! Wish they would just keep it simple and make it the same waiting time!

Nevermind, just have to keep waiting it out, even if it does take over a year. The waiting is worth it!

Hello everyone - I also posted this in the Texas Service Center Forum.  I filed my wife's and step daughters petitions in January.  Received confirmation of receipt January 8, 2018 - Texas Service Center.  on April 19, 2018 - received email - stating an update has been made to my case.  I used the link and created a new profile on the new USCIS website - both cases have been approved on 4/19!  Under each case (i received a different SRC# for wife and daughter) - it states I will recieve a letter in the mail by May 18 for next steps for NVC.

I'm a little skeptical to say the least!  approved thru Texas in a little over 3 months??

Has anyone else received approval that filed in January of this year?

Thank You! - Maybe they hired a new case worker in Texas - and started him or her on a fresh pile of applications in January.  LOL.  Maybe others on here that filed and received NOA 1's in January will start to see quick results also.  i wish everyone speedy and smooth process!

Congratulations! That's awesome! I believe you are the first for January from here. Please update your timeline :)

I have seen one approval (actually two but one was DCF) for November so far. None for December yet.

Filing for a K-3 is a waste of time.  Almost EVERY K-3 is closed.  I have even seen cases which were delayed because they filed both.....but to each his own....
