Well 1 year and 1 month since my application received.  first inquiry after My application for husband went over the normal processing times - stated additional reviews needed to be done, please allow 60 days.   My attorney then filed the inquiry when our case went over the 1 year mark - response our case is in line to be reviewed, keep in mind case are reviewed in the order they are received (BOLDLY NOT TRUE) --please allow 60 more days AND if we do not hear anything provided another address to write by mail to.   March 11, 2019 will be the next 60 days advised to wait.   I really wonder will I receive a blessing in the next 30 days......or does the torture continue.    This is all to our case nothing less nothing more.

I kept reading and I ran across links and literature on CARRP program and I think this is where my husband's case landed.   It is what I thought, a Muslim issue.  I respect the United States to be secure, but not every Muslim is a terrorist but I guess they can be discriminated against due to history.   We are going to have to wait a very long time if his case is here from everything I have read.   No need to be as he and all his immediate and extended family are just regular every day country folks in the USA.    I am so sad.     21 days until there next wait 60 days is up.   We are beaten down so bad but will remain strong!

@SlimLisastay optimistic; I know this journey can be long and stressful. Have you sought help from your Senators and Ombudsman yet?

My Attorney states this will not help us.  As well as I have met with 2 families here from Palestine too and they contacted the congressman and they said they could not help them.  We have 21 more days til our secondary notice that states allow 60 days is up.  I do not know what the attorney will do.   He seems to give the impression that this is all normal, and tells me about another case that took over a year to get the I130 processed and now has waited 10 months and still not been called by NVC for the interview.   I have said over and over I know attorneys cannot help anything.   In our case, a Muslim case, all the attorneys would have told me "HEY, your husband is Muslim, sit back, chill out, and get ready for the wait and struggle!  : {       Honest, My Husband tells me and I agree, honey, it is in God's hand and in God's time if it is his desire.

Hey guys can anyone please help me. So my wife was approved of her CR1 visa on February 8 we picked up her visas and the sealed package on February 11 and on February 16 we traveled to the US. My wife went through the port of entry and all the officer did was he asked for the sealed package and stamps my wife visa page in her passport and he said you are good to go. Now my question is how is my wife going to get her green card? Wasn’t she supposed to receive a paper at the port of entry with instructions on how to pay the fees on how to get the GC? Or will they send a paper in the mail with instructions on how to get the green card?

Thanks for your response in advance. I would really appreciate anyone’s insight, especially from those who went through this process recently.

At the end of her interview when she was approved, did they not give her a sheet of paper with those instructions on it?
