Hi guys,

I just received an email from the NVC saying that my wife case was 'complete' and its in process for an interview date.

•Mailed all documents(package), November 19.
NVC Received documents November 21.
•I called NVC on December 11 and was told my case had been completed. (I guess it was complete before December 11, but that’s when I had called)

• Received 'case complete' on December 14.

*awaiting interview date now😊

I have to say the NVC stage is progressing very quickly.

Usually a week before the complete date. However, depending your country; it could take weeks or months for an interview letter. For Mexico, 6-8 months. My was completed on Dec 12. Around July or August she will have her interview. Loong wait for those in Mexico.

Is the 1 year priority date mean that they strive to have all I130 processed by this date?   I think I am the only January I130 CR1 - spouse application still not processed.  Wonder if anyone has gone over 1 year and why?    I have had to request for additional information.   I am just in the dark.   All Attorneys said he would be here in 1 year, shoot he is not even approved through first process.   I told my attorney that rumors had it, that because he is from Palestine it would be 24 months before he arrives and he said NOOOOOOO 15 months but less.  So wrong.

Everyone is held back in some or the other stage... Some at noa1, some at NVC and some scheduling of interview.. waiting patiently is only option..

I am from march and nothing yet. What about you?

I got approved in about 260 days. Have you considered seeking help from your Congress persons? Fill your timeline if you can. I'm March too; are you on the March thread?

I am January 12, 2018 and nothing.   Just states a generic reason for the delay.  However, i hear the country that is involved in providing the requested documents can delay the process.   Our 1 year mark is in 10 days.   We are so sad as they say the next step once approved in an additional 7 months before they even arrive to us.

My Attorney said the Government shut down by Trump will not/has not affected the processing of our applications/process.

My attorney advised me the same.

However, all my emails each 2 weeks from the Government has ceased.

Has anyone else stopped receiving their updates?

01/12/2019 - will be 1 year we have been waiting in the dark.
