I'm posting my updates for the time frame of approval to sent to DoS (NVC) to petition received so that others have an idea of how long it can take based off of my progress.

I've seen that take up to two months for NVC to receive cases

Hi Guys

I have one question I got my NOA1 at 1/22/18 and as per my timeline will get my petition approval at 07/16/18. If I check my case status it shows last updated 01/25/18 is it normal or my case is stuck at some point due to some mistake or documents missing?

On Next Step:

If we accept your case, you will receive a receipt notice.  If we reject your case, we will send you an explanation with instructions.                                                               And case history is empty  confused need help

No, You are well within the processing timeline. When these date says Jan 12 and you still have not received it then you call them. Heres the link https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

First of all, who said you will get approval at 07/16/18?

Secondly, the updated part is normal meaning they havn't made any process to your case since they receive. If there are any documents missing or any mistake, they will contact you with RFE. Also, you are well within the timeline, so you can't do anything other then wait.

Omg u mean 6.5/8.5 months to get a noa2?? Or it’s the processing time for beginning to end ?

Lol, thats just for noa2. But remember this is inquiry date, meaning they will approve it before this date, but you can't contact them unless you don't received approval until this date.

Waw it’s only my sixth month so I need to wait more 2,5  months just to get Noa2 

but why some people with the same priority date of me they get already  approval?

Hello, new visa journey member here! USC Filed i-130 for my mother who's in the Philippines. 

 

Mailed to USCIS: Jan 25

Received by Texas center: Jan 29

Priority Date: Jan 29

NOA1: Feb 1

Approved: July 9

Sent to NVC: July 13

 

Been a week since our last notice, should I call NVC to ask if they received my case?
