I-130 January 2018 Filers

I was approved on June 28th per new site. No data (case doesn't show up on the old site. I got a hard copy stating June 27, it was in my mailbox on July 3rd. I don't know I'm starting to think that I am calling to early.  This is around the time that I have seen people get NVC received date, about 2-3 after approval.

Yes . This is really very rough journey. Texas is faster compare to Nebraska.

Hi everyone 

This is my first time posting in to give you guys an update on my case that my husband filled  for me in January

 

Service center: TSC

NOA1: 01/29/2018

I-130 Approval 07/13/2018

Case sent to the department of state for visa processing

 

 

I arrived meanwhile in the USA in April, so we sent documents in June for an adjustment of status package before the i-130 approval. We got a notice of action that USCIS received documents on june 15.

We are still waiting

I'm unsure what they'll do with your files, but you have about 2.5 thru 3 months of waiting till you were supposed to send those documents in. Unless you are talking about doing state side adjustment of status. For spousal visa, AOS stands for Affidavit of Support, since there is no status to change from because they are not in the country. Regardless, please keep us all updated, I'm curious as to what happens.

I am talking about the Adjustment Of Status (package with forms i-485, i-765, i-131, i-864)

When my husband filled form i-130 i was outside the country. Now that I’m present, we sent documents for AOS.

Oh cool! I know there is away to get your approved i130 to be switched to state side, I'm just unsure how to do it.

While my husband was here on his business trips I wanted to keep him here, but we both agreed to keep in the path we were on. He didn't feel comfortable with being "out of status" in his mind, or not generating income for the year he couldn't work in his field.

I really understand that your husband is not comfortable to be out of status. My husband and I decided to do an AOS because i am on maternity leave unu’til january and during that time, i am here.

We had a similar thing. I assumed they sent it when the NOA2 was sent, but our NOA2 date was June 29 and the didn’t send it for another week (July 7).

 

So as a heads up to everyone waiting for NOA2, the waiting game doesn’t end, it just changes. Thanks to everyone for posting updates in here though. I don’t know about you guys but I’m ready for this emotional journey to be done. I just want to be with my husband ♥️

I assumed our package would have been there by now since I have seen nearly everyone's recieved date is about 2 thru 3 weeks after approval. Unless with my calling nearly everyday the poor guy last night did an inquiry for me about it. Any time I got an email stating they took action with my case was after i had talked to someone that soubd concern.

 

It's been about 50 days since I have seen my husband and today is his birthday. I know there are cases where people haven't seen their spouse tons longer than I have so I try to not complain as much about it. I am very thankful for the internet, if not for it we would have been broken up or I would have moved or never started this relationship.

I got approved! Omg, finally!! So, my NOA1 was Janurary, 19 and I got my NOA2 July,18. The old website did not update, but the new one did. I didn't have any of the two line stuff appear on either the new or the old website. Good luck to all!! I am so happy!!!
