I-130 January 2018 Filers

Ours is Jan 12th and havent heard anything. It gets approved when it gets approved. There's nothing you can do, just have to wait it out some more!

If their in January yours should get approved soon if their doing the dates in order through January

Fingers crossed! I've seen a few past my priority date. I guess it's just been a long wait that my mindset is like 'ah well what's a few more weeks to wait'. It's such a long process, so much waiting to be with your partner. I think it's funny how they cash your cheque two days after you apply and yet it takes so long to hear anything. I get that they have to check out who they are allowing in, but most of those checks are at the second stage. It's taking seven plus months for them just to pick up your case and look at it. Crazy.

I gathered from reading other’s posts that Texas seems to be the quickest and I think I’ve heard that Nebraska might be the slowest but I’m not sure where Potomac falls... it seems like I haven’t seen any post about Potomac... :-(

my priority date is January 29 and I get the letter for NOA1 first February 

Texas service center. U think I can get approval this month?

Do you think they go in order of dates for January or any month?

They do appear to go in order for the majority. With a few that are earlier/later than others.

Hello Everyone - I have received my case number and Invoice number from the NVC today!  It took almost 2 months from NOA2 - until I received my NVC Case Number and Invoice Number.  Just to give you an idea - below is my timeline:

 

NOA1 - 1/8/18

NOA2 - 4/19/19

NVC Received my papers from USCIS - 5/7/18

I received NVC Case # and Invoice # - 6/13/18

 

I will continue to update as the process moves forward.  I submitted payment of NVC fees.  After payment clears (2-3 Days) - I can upload requested documents electronically.  

 

 

Congratulations the nvc receives my petition june 14 2018 that means july 7 2018 I should get my case number invoice number right?
