There are apps for your phone that allows you to scan for petition cases, but you'll at least need to know a number so you can start your scans.

I got bored a few months ago and started scanning from Sept thru Jan. I don't have all the I-130 petitions saved  in the apps.I have 2 apps that I used, and one of them forgot to rescan everyday for 2 weeks =\

Ah ok, thanks! I have the app with the shield logo but never really figured out how to use it! Haha

No email, no text and I know not to bother calling.  I just checked my status once day.  It went from the message we can't find ur case number to approved

Yeah mine is still set up as can't be found. There are a lot of case numbers close to mine that have the same message.

Just checked the new website, still set as received.  I guess I will check my status in a few days when they get back from the weekend. These centers need to hire more people; I'll be more than happy to go in there and help to move along this stressful process. With how the news is about separating the family.... well this process has separated family for over a year or so.

It comes down to congress and lack of funding.

Government agencies can only work with allocated budgets, regardless of how much money is generated from the amount of applicants.

The bureaucracy sucks, but welcome to the United States.

I am off to Asia to meet my other half in a few days time! A nice few weeks break to see each other and cut a chunk out of the waiting time! Only thing is, now i've seen these early approvals,  i'm thinking "damn, i hope we don't get an RFE" as we wont be able to send any evidence in until we get back, which will extend our waiting time. Haha!!

But, ah well, i'm seeing the positives that we will be in a beautiful place, spending time with each other, so I cant dwell too much!

Good luck to everyone and I am hoping that we all get speedy approvals very soon !!! No RFE'S please!! :)

I have 4 apps... the one that has the continental USA on a white background as the logo I do really like but I hate having to retype my numbers or if I close the app I have to remember what I had written. Also if you save a case number it keeps its history

I think I have the one you are talking about, but when I got it months ago it was really annoying and I personally don't like it. I felt that the info that it game was old info when it would send alerts to me.  I think the alerts are based off of other peoples that have input their data. Since if you set up your casefile you are able to select what country, and so far I don't think the new site or any of the other apps shows what country the petition is sent to.

The other app I like has the flag behind it with the American eagle seal on top. I really like it since when I do a 300 case file scan I can sort the cases by dates it was updated on, but it doesn’t save its history when you save its case number.

Give me a moment so I can send you a direct link to them, assuming you use google play?

Let me see if I can link them here, I'm unsure if the url will be removed.

I much prefer this app! I can see all the approvals also!

Thanks so much for the recommendation

And guess what we forgot to do during that time..... take selfies with each other, but we took random pictures of the other.  Lol..... I plan on submitting more proof of ongoing relationship with him when we are sent to the NVC, assuming I can, recently found out Russia is online filing which wasn't when I 1st started this process.

Thats a lovely amount of time to spend together! We will be together for about two months, this time hopefully! Im sure I will drive him insane trying to take photos all the time of us together, as i usually do!

I am turning 30 whilst we are aware so it will be a good celebration all round, especially if we get our approval around that time, which all seems to perfect really!

Thats lucky that you have online filing, im not sure if England does, I hope so! It would make life so much easier.

Good luck with everything!

I think I read on one of the NVC threads, unsure which month, but they claimed it was online filing, a pivot case filing, just like Russia.

We have over 2 years of physical face to face time due to the company he works for in Russia sending him to the USA over the course of 3 years. (Look at my signature for his trips etc.) We barely go out since we stay at the hotel his company pays for and play video games and watch movies in Russian with English subtitles. This last trip we got us a joint Costco Membership with their credit card to start working on his credit score, and yes I have taken the registration paperwork for the hotel each time I stayed there.

We are hoping that once he gets his visa he could talk to his Russian boss to see about doing a really long business trip or get transferred here, and be the middle guy between both companies. The visa he would enter on is a b1 and bi in lieu of H.(this enables him to collect per diems)

We don’t get to celebrate our birthday with each other this year. I'm hoping to get approved before his birthday and NVC # before my birthday..

I-130 CR1 Timeline  Visa has been issued!!!!!! = ^.^= YAY!

That's good! The more evidence you have, the better. Sounds like you have a lot so i am sure it will be OK.

I'm not worried about that side of things at all, although we don't have ANYTHING financial to prove we are together. I think in total out of two years, we have spent 9 months together, as we have traveled and backpacked together. So we have thousands of photos and shared travel documents, receipts, months and months or travel blogs/journals etc. So, i am not nervous about anything really.

Hopefully you will get approved before his birthday and If you don't you have a whole lifetime of birthdays to spend together, so its all good!

For some weird reason I feel like we don't have enough. Lol. This is his 3rd marriage, my 2nd, we met at the hotel he was staying as, and I was front desk. I was the one that broke the ice, I mentioned something I found in his room when I was delivering mail to him while he was not there, started talking in general and found out we have a lot in common. His English wasn't the greatest but understood and took time to improve. The people he interacts with on the USA side have told him his English has greatly improved.

I got to know his coworkers that would be sent here, some of them know about our relationship. They want me to come out there and visit them, hoping to get me a passport for my birthday and a visa as a Christmas gift to myself, the visa to Russia is about $400….. So yeah that is my Christmas gift to myself.

Also we plan on getting his educational degrees credited or something towards the USA standards so it will be easier for him to find work in his field. We are trying to gather awards and certifications so we can make a profilo for him, and trying to get his resume Americanized. He won’t be officially moving here till he has a job offer. He will most likely take vacation time to fly here to activate his LPR status. Fly back to Russia while I wait for his update SSC and his Green Card, and hoping to fly to him with these documents. I foresee a lot of traveling for myself next year.

Wow! I guess i've never really looked at it from anyone else's point of view before. A language barrier has/ will never be an issue for us, as I am English and he is American citizen.

I'm nervous about lots of things when I move, such as paying for healthcare, finding work, driving on a different side of the road and having to retest etc. I cant imagine having to add learning a new language onto those worries. I guess it is up to the spouse living in the USA to provide a lot of emotional support when the foreign spouse moves over to USA. Making sure they are comfortable and become familiar with how life is in the USA. I didn't think life would be that different, but work, healthcare and driving are all going to be very different for me and really, those are pretty major things!

Traveling is never a bad thing, so if you do have to travel a lot next year, try to see it as a positive. That would be nice to visit Russia. I dont think it matters how many times you have been married before. I work in a hotel on the front desk also. But that is not how i met my partner!
