Went to Costco, special Thurs-eve trip man.

Spent nearly $Many00, several items* man.

Last two trips have cost us just $Many ($2x2x2x2x2) out-of-pocket, Costco Visa rebate man.

Now probably back to Aldi, cheap we man.

 ➺ 08/13/21 I finally get my biometrics appointment 

➺ 02/26/22 I got my interview assigned: March 31st.

Update:

 

So we are in week 3 since we sent our documents to NVC, waiting for a case complete. I know it can take up to 11 weeks, but dear God I hope that's not the case.

I can't stop thinking about how it's still going to take us 4-5 more months for an interview date. I knew when USCIS screwed us by taking almost a year to approve us that the process would take us longer than a year, in this case, a year and a half, but man it's a very different thing having to live it.

I really just need to figure out what I'm going to do with the extra time. A month of yoga in India sounds better and better every day, I just need to find a decent-priced plane ticket. I know it's the most white-girl thing I could possibly do, (steeeereotypes!) but I truly do love Yoga as a philosophy and not merely a trend. 

Another option is to just find things to do here in my hometown, but I'm losing my patience. I've mentioned it before, but as much as I love my family we are bound to end up in a murder-suicide scene if I stay here too long.
