The sun has gone into hiding

I have booked my anniversary present from last year (day at the spa) for this year's anniversary 😂

 

I have an interview this afternoon, I am hoping they like me as I am going slowly insane being home with just the animals and MIL for company.

We had agreed before I came out that I didn't need to work but financial consideration isn't everything, I miss going to work, having people other than family to talk to and something other than the house work to do

Enjoy the spa day!  We have sun for the second day in a row here, after not seeing any for over a week. It won't last, the weather guy here has tossed out a tease in his latest forecast..."I don't like Wednesday".

You are exactly right, Trudi. Otherwise, it becomes a  sort of a prison sentence. I worked early on, but then the FIL died, and the MIL got sick, and then the Husband got really sick. And my work moved me to straight nights, which would have been impossible for me, so I had to give it up. I missed having people outside of the family to talk to, just to interact with other people is a big bonus for working. Heaven knows it wasn't for the money. In AR I was paid 1/5th of what I'd been paid for a very similar job at home. So, I ended up stuck out in the boonies, with only the two of them and her dogs for company. If you can get the opportunity, go for it. WIll make the world of difference!

Mini-B. feigned illness this morning, not unheard of on a Monday by wee man.

We kept him out of skool till Many (2x2x2+2) a.m., tardy vs. absence man.

We & Mrs. T-B. are reminded that he's a little Drama King, quite expert at it wee man.

I wised to the older one's antics some time around that age.  Now, if she isn't vomiting or dying, it is off to school.

Seems good, once I got used to him being the weirdest breather of the 3.  He seems to have my sinus problems and an intolerance to cow's milk (not lactose), something I oddly developed while pregnant.  Oh and he eats at least every two hours, hence part of the exhaustion since I'm exclusively breastfeeding.  The troll is the other 90% of that.  My mother seemed to think that while I was recovering from a c-section was a good time to push potty training.  It wasn't and having to carry him and fight him to put clothes back on so he doesn't poop more on the floor has not helped my recovery at all.

It's hard to imagine a worse time to start potty training. I think you have plenty on your plate as it is.
