Well just before I was headed to bed I get on FB because my mom was complaining of not seeing my posts. She's not that great on the computer even after all these years. So I get on mine to double check settings. I use more then one list for ppl on FB and wanted to make sure she wasn't added to the wrong list. I know she wasn't before but heck with FB always messing with things I checked. Well lo and behold she's not on my FB and probably about 15 other ppl. My guess either the munchkins were messing with things of FB decided they didn't like my friends. Weird thing is this seems to have happened months ago. Just how long I have no idea or how many times it has happened because no way could the kids delete that many ppl without me noticing them on the computer. I still haven't gone through it all and figured out who all is missing. 

 

Well that will be for another day or week.

After another shatter-record-ing week of POTS sales (President's Day models, chiefly man), we went to the cleaners, si man.

We picked up our Hield Brothers suit*, bought for $2 at the resale shop last weekend, steal man.

 

*tailored in London exclusively for Saks Many'th (2+2+1th) Avenue, si man

 

After purchase, we had gotten the cuffs & waist altered for the sum of $Many ($2+1), steal man.

The dry-cleaning cost approximately $Many ($2+2), deal man.

Accordingly, for the princely sum of $Many ($2x2x2+1), we have a brand-new suit, The Price Is Right man.

This eve, Mrs. T-B. had a business/social yak-fest with a bunch of Ecu amigas, homely dialects man.

She dropped Mini-B. at a neighbor's casa, plan man.

We were to return casa-ward and immediately go to Costco to redeem our annual reward certificate, $Many man.

 

Amazingly, Costco wasn't mobbed, eerie man.

We fulfilled almost everything on our shopping-list, very full cart man.

At checkout, we spent $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2+2+2+2) and still got $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2-2-1) in change, deal man.

Most of the purchase was large packages of meat & chicken, stock up man.

We somehow managed to stack it all in the refrigerator, verrrrry full man.

We then retrieved Mini-B., we get wee man.

 

Somehow, Mrs. T-B. managed to repackage all of the meat & chicken to fit in the freezer, expert-by-now she man.

(She first hungrily attacked the quinoa salad that we had gotten at her request, compliant we and ingest she man.)

 

That Costco Visa card is a gold mine, all this for free with $Many left over man.

Truly gripping, intense, scintillating, stimulating Saturday repartee, amazing stuff man.

 

Saturday ES report, see man:

-- Walter Pye's suit = $Many ($2x2x2x2-1), deal man (pants under repair, previous owner too skinny man)

-- black Kenneth Cole Reaction slacks = $Many ($2+2), OK man

-- Many (2+1) dish-towels so Mrs. T-B. won't keep using the guest-bathroom towels = $2, OK man

-- Swingline stapler; thick hand-towel; cans of corn, Progresso soup, green beans = $Many ($2+2), steal man

-- Many (2+1) stacks plastic cups; toucans evaporated milk = $2, steal man

Total = $Many ($2x2x2x2+[2x2x2]+2+1), satisfying man

Finally took Mama T-B. to birthday lunch, recovered from cold senior she man.

Went to Langosta Roja, Mini-B.'s favorite man.

In lobster tank, pointed out Larry, Leo, Lorenzo, Lacho, and Leonard the Lobsters, introduce we to wee man.

Staff sang Happy Birthday to Mama T-B., embarrassed-but-pleased senior she man.

 

Afterwards, went to Mini-B.'s Kumon awards ceremony, attend we & she & wee & senior she man.

Despite Chinese New Year, most awardees there Chinese, no surprise man.

 

Mini-B. -- a stoodent for only Many (2+1) months -- got a silver medal, 2 years ahead of grade-level wee man.

Back in seat, Mini-B. teared up, upset wee man.

He wanted a gold medal, hurt feelings wee man.

 

We all left early, upset wee man.

Tried to explain that the other kids had been going to Kumon for years in some instances, perspective man.

Mini-B. inconsolable, sad wee man.

 

We & Mama T-B. took the explanatory/supportive approach, we & senior she man.

Mrs. T-B. initially took the same, initial she man.

Soon, she told him that he can't have everything he wants unless he works for it, pointed she man.

Mini-B. still upset, upset wee man.

 

At the casa, we reiterated our pride in Mini-B.'s rapid accomplishment, proud we man.

Mrs. T-B. became sterner and "in his face," forthright she man.

Mini-B. ran to his room to sulk, upset wee man.

 

Later, Mini-B. came down to apologize and to say that we were right, contemplative wee man.

Unlike other activities, he does not want to quit Kumon, new approach by wee man.

He was fine the rest of the day, and even wanted to show off his medal to his best little amigo, mind-changing wee man.

Amidst his age (Many years old) and "only-child" syndrome, we & Mrs. T-B. are hopeful, hope we & she man.

After returning from second round of errands, we needed a shower, Many degrees outside man.

Decided to make it worthwhile, mow front lawn man.

Stupid lawn already overgrown in weird broadleaf clover-like growth, precursor to grass growth man.

Failed to take enough aspirin beforehand, oversightful we man.

Our body hurts, Heap Strong bedtime medicine man.

Inside jobs for the next few days.  It's super cold and windy out, and meant to be a rainy week. Going to be a long week for the dog, who cannot bear to get her feet wet, and hates being dried off every time she comes in. She's been going from window to window this morning, hoping the view has improved out the other side of the house
