Scintillating repartee this morning, yawn man.

Speaking of yawning, Mini-B. did not at all want to rouse himself or be roused, comatose wee man.

For that matter, T-B. didn't want either, either, want continued zzz we man.

Nevertheless, we got Mini-B. to skool in plenty of time, all ends well man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

So far today I've managed to pick the piece of firewood that was playing Jenga and I lost - my big toe hasn't fallen off and stopped bleeding eventually so all good

 

And yesterday we discovered that some useless person at Verizon didn't remove eldest stepdaughters line from our account when they were supposed to so we've been paying for her 30gb a month habit for the last year...

 

And the icing on the cake - my mum just told me her doctors think she has cancer and she's about to undergo tests to confirm/deny, she's been sick for a while and I've been nagging her to get to the doctor - I am praying it's not and it's something easily fixed

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

I'm busy making curtains for the kitchen window. Although we are in the middle of nowhere, and there are no neighbors to peer in when the rooms are lit at night, I cannot stand a bare window. Locating sewing machine among heaps of still unpacked boxes, and having a go. I have quite a large fabric stash, so that isn't a biggie.

 

Day two of fence installation. He was here on Friday last and set the post in concrete. It's a miserable day, cold and windy. We asked the poor man to come in and have lunch. He was horrified. He always sits in his truck and eats he says, oh no, I couldn't do that. Surely to goodness, we can't be the only people he has worked for to ask him in. He was absolutely shocked  :huh:

I got my blood work results back.

 

Everything is perfect, except my CPK levels that are through the roof, ironically meaning I have to include more rest time between workout sessions to not over stress my body.

 

I have to pack for my obligated family vacation, but I bet it will be fun to spend some days visiting new cities, nonetheless.

➺ 02/08/17 Case Assigned to USCIS Nebraska, sigh. 

➺ 02/13/17 We got our NOA1! PD: February 8th 

➺ 12/15/17 NOA2 finally! after 10 1/2 months. 

➺ 12/21/17 NVC confirmed they received our file 

➺ 01/22/18 Documents sent to Rapidvisa 

➺ 02/05/18  NVC received our package 

➺ 03/15/18 Case complete! 

➺ 06/27/18  We got our Interview date! August 28th 

➺ 08/30/18 The package arrived (waited at Juarez)

➺ 08/31/18 Entered the U.S with my husband 

➺ 02/13/19 Husband confesses he cheated, leaves

➺ 02/16/19 Husband decides to abandon the marriage

➺ 05/13/19  I am officially divorced. 

 ➺ 07/03/20  I file to remove conditions on my own     

 ➺ 08/13/21 I finally get my biometrics appointment 

➺ 02/26/22 I got my interview assigned: March 31st.
