I'm newish....

My rant...my now husband is "fixing" my comfortably decorated farm house and turning it in to a post modern apocalyptic nightmare.....

A " home decor style" question should be asked on dating websites....the struggle is real....and there's just so much "grin and bear it" I can take

*ack* Oh no. There ought to be a question about that in the paperwork. Seriously. And Welcome Janet3. (F)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I think of it as many bonus points when dating if a man doesn't care at all how a house is decorated.  That means I can do whatever I want.

The downside is....my bedroom is orange...yep

And my german shepherd growled at me yesterday because I sat between she and him......

Dog needs a lesson in places.  Orange bedroom, gag!  My hubs may not clean but at least I can decorate.

Been a busy week here, temperatures have dropped, snow, freezing rain and fog have all popped in to make life fun.

Stepdaughter has been driving herself to school so in theory I could stay in bed - neither the dog or redneck have worked this out yet grrr

Stepdaughter had an ingrown toenail out the other day, redneck had a tooth crowned today - they are both adamant they are extra special and their procedures were not routine...

MIL - she needs a thread all of her own but the New Year has not improved her *sigh*

Full plate you have there. Pity, I'd hoped she'd pull her head in and act like a nice person. I couldn't tell you how my MIL is,  no blessed idea :)

Oh, how's your ear infection? Any better?

Ears fine now thanks :)

Not chance of her behaving like a normal person - redneck had friends over for his birthday, she greeted them walking round in her nightgown telling them how good she looks for 83 & how she was going for a shower to get ready to see her boyfriend...I ended up actually picking her up and putting her in the bathroom and daring her to come out before she was dressed decently!

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey
