I drove my kid 2 blocks to school this morning. It's like -5 (windchill) here. 

And I gotta get to the office at some point during the day <sigh>

That is cold if you aren't used to it.  Most kids in that area don't go to school in their full snowsuits with heavy duty boots.  

 

I need to clone my husband or get a second one.  He wants to work an extra day this week, he still has to skim coat the ceilings at my mother's house, arrange the renovations, and finish my before baby projects.  Too over-extended.

Why do Many,000,000 people voluntarily park themselves in such climates and then beef about them, huh man?

And that stuff is expectable every year for many consecutive months, well-known issue man.

We learned, and have lived in satisfied fashion via, the following precepts, see man:

 

1.  There is NO need or reason to stay up north and be COLD, NO man.

2.  To appreciate snow, it must fall once in a blue moon and melt on the same day, see and bye man.

Many.  Hurricanes & himmicanes occur randomly, but snow up north is EVERY year, good grief man.

Many.  Negative temperatures = negative experience, hence the negativity of "negative" man.

 

We do not, one bit or for one minute, miss living in the Midwest or similar latitudes, not one bit or minute man.

As notated earlier, we attended the Friday-only GS this morn, alive-streaked we man.

The take, see man:

-- 2 teaspoons + Many (2+2) tablespoons = $2, deal man

Total = $2, si man

 

Saturday features the above-dreaded ES plus an MS (moving-sale), variety man.

Mini-B. will have Many (2+1) birthday parties this month, diversified wee man.

The first is today, at the casa, for Many (2x2x2+2) little amigos, no girls allowed man.

The second will be on his actual birthday when he brings cupcakes to skool, take the cake wee man.

The Many'rd will be at month-end for our extended family, aggregated relations man.

We presume that he will be a gifted individual, endowments for wee man.

Well, for one I like not having to worry about skin cancer for the most part.  The Dane has a supreme lack of melanin.  Two minutes in the Texas sun might just be a death sentence.

 

My air conditioning is optional during the summer and only because I don't like when my house creeps up to 78.  Can you say the same?

 

Anyways, I'd be happy if it was perpetually below 60, but yet above freezing.  Iceland is calling to me, I tell you.

 

Kids love snow.

I have the capacity for two husbands, no problem there.    The Dane would be fine with it, but probably a bit too risqué for small Midwestern town.

We have zero capacity for Fat Water, no snow-job man.

Furthermore, one risks losing one's pre-owned toilet seat (white) if one drops it into a snowbank, disaster man.

This has happened to several Yanquis who bought POTSs for sledding purposes, diverse uses buy yours today man.

We therefore sell only yellow POTSs for sledding, because they disappear only in yellow snow man.

today's discontent: no internet for over a month, so I'm downstairs trying to get the beach club's connection and pay my credit cards.

 

I'm also on my  *****fallopian talk incoming, bip bip bop bip bop *****

period which has been acting out and is delayed (thanks for the heart attack, period) so it falls exactly on my wedding anniversary.

I couldn't expect any less, considering it rained heavily on our wedding day, it needs to keep up, hah.

 

NVC finally received our file but they told us to call in a week to get our invoice number. we're getting everything ready and hopefully,

it won't take too long to get an interview date. hopefully!
