Had a shopping day in playa del carmen, bought new work out clothes, ate chocolate mousse and facetimed with my husband so great day overall!

Uggghh and I somehow got hives from the dye fixative I put my daughter's snowpants in tonight.  They've mysteriously started running color after a year in service and multiple washes with color catchers hasn't helped.  This was after getting hives everywhere my hair bleach touched last week.  

I have as well since I got sick. I woke up last Monday not feeling great and it got worse until Wednesday when I felt like utter #######. I am just now feeling halfway decent today for work YAY.

Last night sucked. Nothing like seeing your location in the middle of the red hexagon, and the weatherman telling you this is a potentially deadly situation. We've always just trooped into the safe room and waited it out, and not having that was quite unsettling.  There is a local community shelter in town, but that would have meant a 10 mile trip towards the storm, so, yeah , nah.

The installers for the shelter will be here on the first of the month. They are very busy, little wonder.  I'll treat it as I did the old Anderson shelter in the bottom of the garden back in the UK. Plant posies on it

Seemingly better so far today, guarded observation man.

Bedded self ~2 hours early with Heap Strong Medicine, nuke the Little Beesties man.

Awoke drenched in sweat at Many a.m., good sign of broken fever man.

No time to retake temperature, no man.

No other overt symptoms of flu, seemingly not man.

Fingers crossed, hope we man.

Yeah I slept with 2 thick blankets on for 2 nights to break my fever. It worked in the end but damn those nights were hot
