We are right in the middle of that part of AR that isn't looking at snow today/tomorrow. What we are looking at is very cold weather, referred to by the weather geek as 'pipe bustin'. Great.

If weather heads south (in both senses) tomorrow, it might hose our caucus with financial planner, disappointed she man.

FP has been jockeying to caucus with us for Many months, increasingly desperate she man.

Entire building will probably be decorated just for us, much effort man.

I'm quite happy not to have anywhere to go until later in the week when it might warm up a bit. I've been fighting the flu all week but went out yesterday to stock up a bit just in case.

I'll still have to walk the dog though, fence man is busy at the moment, and can't get here for at least two more weeks. I didn't think winter would be a particularly busy time for fencing, but it seems it is.

Road still closed because they are still extricating cars.  No one can get to work or come home from night shifts still.  

 

Totally unexpected as it snowed 2 inches yesterday morning, but the only thing going on today was some wind.  Luckily, it seems that although there are cars in the ditch as well due to  the whiteout, no fatalities or injuries.

I saw one car off the road, nose down in a drain, yesterday on my way into town, right where the 1-40 exit/entrance is. They had it closed for a bit, due to icing. On my way out of the grocery store, I also saw a Robin! Poor little confused creature.

Very early. And if he does find one, it will be frozen solid. Next time I go out, given that this dog has a bladder the size of a lentil any minute now, I'll fill the bird feeder.  I've just peer out at it and noticed I also have a bird going in and out up under the porch. I'll have to block that up first chance I get. I've no objection to birds about the place, but I do object to being dive-bombed going in and out of my own front door.

Bad weather happens everywhere.  I distinctly remember being towed out of a ditch in Colorado.  At least I didn't go off the side of a mountain.
