Finding new doctors, nail salons, hairdressers is all something you dont think about when you move.  But it can be frustrating.

I think it's one of the hardest things too, replacing a good hairdresser is stressful!

Been to see my ENT doctor this morning, after much discussion and peering into my tiny ear canals he thinks the nerves that run behind the eardrum are damaged and that he needs to go away and figure out what to do.

We are agreed that surgery just for the sake of having a closer look isn't an option (I've had over 40 previous operations and my ears have become hyper sensitive to everything)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Lucky you.

I ordered two t-shirts in Linkin Park store in November. One of them was supposed to be a Christmas gift to my sister.

The package was delivered to Warsaw (Polish capital) on December 1st. via Global Mail or whatever it is called (the shirts were $35 each and the shipping was $11). The tracking stopped there and I have no idea where is my package and which delivery company has it. Nothing.

I thought the DHL (who is the owner of the Global Mail thing) will deliver it in Poland as well, but it turned out that this is not the case. So I have no idea where to look for my package.

The customer service at the LP store asked me to wait a couple of weeks before contacting them again. Tho they don't have a clue who delivers those packages in Poland.

Yeah, so looks like I threw away $81. It's like what I spend for food in a month. So you can only imagine how happy I am. NOT. :ranting:

That really sucks. They better give you a refund.

So three weeks after our approval, we finally got our NVC case number and invoice number.

Honestly, I'm way more relaxed now, just knowing we are out of USCIS (at least for now) I know NVC isn't perfect and we have many months ahead of us still,

anything is better than not knowing what the hell is happening for 10 and a half months.

***semi fallopian chat incoming*** warning, warning

this will sound like a weird commercial, but I started using magnesium oil after my PMS got out of hand, and the inflammation and breast pain went down.

that's right boys.  breast PAIN. Being a woman is fun. Now I read is great for muscles after exercise, so I will get my hands on some Epsom salts as well.

I spray some on my feet before going to bed and I feel like I'm sleeping better as well, at least I can't keep my eyes open when I'm reading after I use it. yay!

yes magnesium is very helpful

Speaking of fallopian...

I wonder if Trophie is in labor or something...

That isn't something to joke about.  The roads just legally opened after being closed for a blizzard.  They are still NTA and white out conditions.  My obgyn was worried that I might be a few days ago, but nope.   This would not be a good time, so I'm laying down.  I'm not here for premature birth in the middle of nowhere in a blizzard.  Not going to happen.  At least the Dane is home.

You know how bad the Kings county (Brooklyn) district Attorney's office is?

I was speaking to a bureau chief from the Bronx county DAs office earlier, and they had nothing but harsh words for them. Like they had a joint special narcotics case, Kings county was so misinformed about the law, that they had to call the NY county (Manhattan) DA to clarify. And, Kings county was wrong.

You know you're really bad if the Bronx knows more than you...

I had a former Brooklyn ADA as a lawyer once.  He was funny, but not bad by any means.

More like their wives, they're the EMTs.  The local doctor would be the best bet, he used to deliver babies in town, when they did that sort of thing.  I'd be more worried about the baby - in this weather I don't think they'd send the NICU ambulance out.

Anyways, reasons I'm staying a hotel near the hospital if there is another storm between now and my surgery date.  The obgyn wants me to get checked out before any blizzards to avoid said scenario.  My understanding is that women usually go into labor before a storm because of the change of pressure, rather than during it.

How retarded is this. There's about 10 Honda CRVs on every block in NYC. It's like the best selling car in America.

Yet Costco and BJs don't have that battery size! So, I gotta send the poor office girl to go to the Sears in da ghetto to go get it...
