My best friend feels love has zero to do with marriage.  You should only marry someone you can work with an compatible with.  

Meanwhile her and her husband dont enjoy most of the same things, apparently he is constantly angry with her kids, and every project is a major blow up so they dont do projects together.  They also dont talk about important things because he doesnt like to talk.  So she doesnt get why i talk to my husband about things... lol.. 

 

Im confused. 

 

I mean they do seem to enjoy hikes together, apparently have good sex, she says she loves him, and she seems to spend time with him when she feels bad about not spending time.  But im about up to my eyeballs with her judgements on my relationship.  

 

I think at this point i cant say a negative at all because she jumps all over it and hangs on it forever.  Which is probably just her personality.  But yeesh... anyhow just a random rant

I'm telling you the company is falling apart! 

Me, JR, and the Big Show have not seem each other in a week. I saw JR for like 10 minutes in passing the other day. 

Everything else has been friggin conference calls and texts. 

Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing...

I've been text talking to these 2 guys on and off for 3 hours. 

We still haven't hired a new guy from before Christmas...

Sounds like she can only convince herself that her relationship is good is if she picks yours apart and focuses on the negatives ignoring the good things, in short she sounds jealous of what you have.

It's sad and eventually she's going to actually see her relationship for what it is

I have learned through experience that you shouldn't ignore your gut feeling, if you think the company has problems and the big bosses are conspicuous by their absence, there is usually a reason and it's rarely a good one

Ummm...I'm a "big boss" lol 

But like I said, a few years ago, I was thinking about moving on or packing it in. 

Now it's like we have a role reversal here. 

 

Now I gotta implement some changes, based on what I picked up today at the seminar. 

But I don't want to leave these guys in the dark. Gotta tell them first. 

But when am I gonna be able to do that?? 

We're not gonna all be in the office at the same time till like next Tuesday!

If we're a bigger organization, I'm the COO. 

 

The guys will have to adjust to changes, it's not an option.
