The Rant of Our Discontent

Randall left today, after a great month together and I'm incredibly sad.

But I have to keep myself busy, so I decided to clean both the fridges (big mess, ugh my mom and grandma are just not organized, so much wasted food)

and I made a list so I can go shopping and prep all the meals for the week tomorrow.  I also joined classes and I'm going to start at the gym. 

I'm starting the ''diet'' as well, focusing on clean eating, fewer carbs, sugars and processed things. 

 

any tips for meal prepping that you guys can share? it's my first time and I'm excited!

I suck at meal prepping, but I can see the allure.

 

One of my goals for the New Year is less food waste.  I hate when the fridge is overcrowded and things get forgotten.

Take away from today's obgyn appointment: he doesn't think I'm going to make it to the c-section date.  I have another ultrasound scheduled to check my fluid levels, apparently I'm measuring quite large.  It looks like the weight has all gone to my belly at this point.

I agree with you, I'm trying to teach my family to be less wasteful and it's a struggle. I personally stopped using straws (plastic ones) tampons (Switched to the cup) and to go containers (bring my own tupperware) as well as reusable bags whenever I can. Meal prep is crucial for a diet, so I don't end up eating ####### because I'm hungry and lazy.

 

aw, I hope everything turns out great though! I'm deadly scared of pregnancy and children. I'm amazed of how anyone is able to do it, I constantly question if I have what it takes. Mad respect to you and all moms/parents!

So... there was an earthquake in Honduras, and now there's a tsunami risk/warning for all the Yucatán Peninsula.  Yey!

Such a strange feeling, I've experienced earthquakes in Mexico City (not the biggest /recent ones, thankfully) but to feel it here, is quite shocking.

I hope everyone in Honduras is okay, though. 

 

After everything that's been happening, how can anyone still doubt global warming might be an actual thing?
