After GS-ing, we returned to take Mini-B. to lunch, bachelor outing man.

Like last week, he chose Arby's ("they have curly fries"), coupons about to expire man.

We used a "2 can dine for $Many" coupon, ambitious choice man.

This yielded 2 Arby sandwiches, 2 small fries, 2 drinks, and a small mozzarella sticks, much to ingest man.

Mini-B. ingested (of course) his fries, a mozzarella stick, and almost his entire sandwich, ravenous wee man.

We ingested everything else, ravenous we man.

Afterwards, Mini-B. declared, "Best lunch ever!", satisfied wee man.

And we are proud that our appetite was apparently hereditary, proud we of wee man.

We have a whole box of correspondence and documents pertaining to our fight with the ####### Guayaquil consulate, grrr still man.

Mrs. T-B. is still up and downstairs, working on translations at half-past 2 a.m., empresaria she man.

We forwarded that e-mail from Many years ago to her, remind we she man.

We then went downstairs, and, briefly detouring from wrangling laundry, gave her a big kiss, osculate we on she man.

We then implored her to call the Rojo without further delay, rubias becoming quite impatient with us man.

After lunch with Mini-B., we took him to Napa Auto Parts, bachelor outing continued man.

Need to train our progeny to avail themselves of coupons (Arby's) and great deals (Napa), raise them right man.

We then returned to the casa and took a nearly 2-hour nap, role-modeling continued man.

After our nap, we recruited Mrs. T-B. to help us lift the lawnmower into the T-B.-mobile's trunk, road trip man.

We mowed entire lawn at the r-casa, probably in record time, nice dry grass man.

Was only a one-sweatband job, albeit a thick sweatband, temperatures in the Manys (2x2x2s x 2x2x2+2s) man.

A passerby helped us reload mower into trunk, can get mower out solo but not in solo, we + he man.

We then mowed our casa's front lawn, another sweatband job man.

Recovery consumed a Many'rd sweatband, perspire profusely we man.

(We dislike our front lawn less than that at the r-casa, truth be told and not saying much man.)

(We like the r-casa back lawn better than that at the casa, latter far too big & asymmetrical man.)

These Many hours later, our body still hurts, ow ow ow man.

He's only upset that I'm upset at him.  Apparently if it was an accident, I shouldn't be upset.  It is gouged down to bare metal in places.  I just put touch up paint on the car a week ago because bird poo took off some paint a few years back and the touch up paint from then came off over the winter.  I combed that car looking for other areas that might need it.

It looks like my car got attacked by a band of clawed wild animals.

He claims the scratches were there before.  They 150% were not.  I can't even look at or drive it I'm so upset.

For the past year and a half it is has been one thing after another that is "an accident" but it just negligence and being dumb.  A couple of things more serious than this.

Oh man I am speechless :(

Redneck is officially broken and will be on crutches until he gets his knee replacement which is not likely to be for a long while thanks to other health issues :(

We got him a mobility scooter to get about on so hopefully he'll be able to still get about.

Oscar dog was doing great and we worked out what he can eat (not much) without getting diarrhea.

we had to go away overnight Friday, MIL promised to look after him and swore blind she'd not feed him anything except his food.

We came home yesterday to diarrhea and pee EVERYWHERE.

His water bowl was empty :(

I have had him 9 years and he has never peed in the house.

I'm fairly sure MIL just came in Friday, filled his bowl with her leftovers and didn't come back to let him out again.

I am so mad right now

NOLA I totally understand why you're upset.  My hubs occasionally does things like  that too.  He just is so unmaterialistic that it doesn't bother him when things are not taken care of.  Whereas I have pride in ownership because I work really hard for my things I couldn't have growing up.

Trudi I'm sorry about the redneck.  Thankfully there's a way he can get around and I hope his knee replacement isnt yoo far off. Im also sorry about Oscar.  I think any more time away from him and you should get a pet sitter and not trust your MIL.  They're expensive but for his physical health and your mental one, it seems like a better option.

Your MIL has just earned the big prize. She never gets to look after Oscar again.  The poor dog shouldn't suffer because she is an idiot

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I think it is actually the opposite way around, in that because he didn't have expensive things growing up he has no idea how to treat them.  He had no idea you were supposed to use coasters on wood furniture, etc.  His family doesn't really have the concept of long-term ownership of items that get passed down.  I'm planning on this car being my daughter's in a few years.

On the other hand, he says I'm like my mother - we both like things perfect.  Part of that might be true.

He's going to try and bring it in to an auto-detailing place to get the ones that are just in the clear coat out through some buffing.  Turns out he or the oldest one was using one of my sponges that was exclusively for removing really stuck on bugs on my front bumper.  Sponge is scratchy in parts.  It, though, didn't scratch his truck and same bird poop didn't take off his paint.  I think my car's paint just sucks.

No hubs is just like that, he didn't have expensive things, everything became disposable and doesn't matter.  His parents aren't like that, even their cheap things they treat very well because that's all they can afford.  Somehow along the way it just never got through to him that you treat things you own with pride.  Granted it's a thing I had to learn, and something I think you have to teach people.  Whether or not they can learn it is another story.

I'm glad he's trying to fix it for you.

I think the inside of his truck says all one needs to know about his feelings on pride.  Barf.  I don't even go in it without advance warning for him to clean it out.

I can see that with my own children, they don't seem to an intrinsic concept of how to take care of things.  I could see that some parents might not bother with "don't leave your bicycle outside, so it doesn't rust", etc.
