In other gripping pet news, cat has occupied our lap and brushed several papers off our desk with her athletic tail, swishy miu man.

We made it through the GS itinerary with our shot-up wrist, rather swollen but nonthrobbing entire hand man.

However, upon return to the casa, pain level Manypled or Manyrupled despite half an hour of icing, ouch man.

Didn't help that cat kept nuzzling said hand for affection, ouch miu man.

After an agonizing one-handed chauffeuring of Mini-B., we tightly splinted wrist and took nap-with-cat, stabilize it man.

Nap lasted nearly Many (2+2) hours, catch-up on zzz we man.

Hand & wrist then responded to ice, some relief man.

 

We managed to dish the warsher, warsh/bake Laundry Load #1, and warsh LL#2, tenuous man.

We now need to fold LL#1, prospective ouch man.

This won't be a fun weekend, no man.

1.  I did write Sverige > DK on the back, but that seems to have disappeared.

2.  It isn't so much that it is muddy, which it is, but the winter degrades all the paved/concreted surfaces resulting in a lot of dust/debris everywhere (including my kitchen).

 

Everyone was outside today, BBQing and living it up.  We got invited to a BBQ tomorrow.  There is still snow on the ground.

Any community worthy of the name would not be BBQ-ing, no ma'am.

It would be holding, or at least planning, GSs, that's what ma'am.

Sounds like our local (vs regional) paper.  Things they refuse to report on: crime, fatalities, fires, slight controversies, or any other non-self-reported news.

 

They include snippets from past papers, this year those are interesting because they are from 1918 and 1943.

Rant.

Spent the entire morning and early afternoon sat waiting on the delivery man who was meant to be bringing me my new exterior doors.  He did try, bless him, but couldn't find us.

 

He called my blasted cell phone 5 times, but it went straight to voicemail. It wasn't until later this afternoon I happened to look at it to get the time and saw the voicemail. I couldn't dial out, and on trying to call the cell from the house phone, it went right to voicemail again. No service. No outages here either. I spent nearly 3 hours online chatting with Verizon and had to do a factory reset before it would connect. I am going to take it into town tomorrow and get them to replace the SIM, the online person seemed to think it is the bit that's at fault. And now I have to wait until next week for the doors. And pay for delivery all over again.
