Rarely do I go lower than 1/4 tank.  I haven't ran out of gas since I was a teenager.  

 

She just wants TB to pump her gas.

 

I thankfully have never run out of gas, but there was a close call when I was a teenager and my credit card wasn't working and my bank was near where I had to go anyway to withdraw cash.

 

The only real excuse besides that is that the fuel gauge isn't working or you are unexpectedly sitting in traffic for a whole day.

Was a little windy here yesterday, but nothing like you have got!  We hit a record low last night, and what wind there was made it seem a lot worse. Our local weather geek had profound thoughts on this:

"If my math is correct, this is NOT April 15th. It’s January 105th"

 

Husband is still out of action with his back, and I'm getting impatient to get at a few jobs that need more than one person.  It's improving, and I have to remind him the doc did say 8-12 weeks if it heals. No fancy footwork for a while yet :/

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Despite our having shown her, she had to add gas once and had to ask someone for help, :bonk: man.

We continuously ask her "how much gas do you have," query she we man.

Invariably, she looks blank and answers "half," car stuff doesn't register man.

Imho tbone, she doesn't deserve a car she won't pay attention enough to maintain even with gas.  But likely you can't drive her everywhere either.  My grandmother never drove.
