The Dane was offended I was going to go to concert without him.

Well, just do your wifely duty by letting him snore beside you, Nola-B. ma'am.

And do your mommily duty by letting Dutch Jr. sandwich you in, Nola-B. ma'am.

In short, start being subservient to your menfolk, si Nola-B. ma'am.

Wind has picked up outside, well blow us down man.

Just started raining, too, sounds like man.

Just when we had finally begun writing, and were furiously getting into the draft of, our long-awaited barbecuing of the illegitimate-male-child Guayaquil consulate where we got hosed (the first time) Many (2x2x2+2) years ago this month, never forget man.

When we perfect this opus and post it, computers are going to melt, barbecue man.

Meanwhile, cat prep storm-interfered-with zzz man.

Sorry to hear you all have some weather issues.

Over here the weather have been kinda summer-ish last two weeks. Easter was really cold (around 5'C), but since then it's been above 20'C. In my part of Poland, not all over it :P

Dunno what happened to spring. It got lost or squished between winter and summer

So... me, my sister and my godson are going to see 30 Seconds To Mars this Wednesday.
And there'll be some fan-actions during the concert :)
One is called "We do believe". We were asked to prepare banners with words "We believe in..."or "We fight for..." and we must finish the sentence.
I've got a problem with what Patrick wants to have on his banner. I asked him and he told me a story about how in his class (or school) they raised some money for virtually adopting a kid in Africa and spend the money for his education. And he said that giving that kid the chance to live normally and to go to school, etc. is important to him.
So I thought we'll write on his banner, that "we fight for equality", but I'm not sure if this word is enough to describe what he wants. Can you help me with finding the right English word for expressing ourselves rightly? I'll be really grateful! :)

The littlest one sleeps in a rock n play next to the bed.  He's going to have to move out of our bedroom in the coming months because with our newish super big bed, we don't have room for a crib or anything in here.  I'll just listen to him snore over the monitor instead.

Thanks for deleting that for me.

It is a hard sentiment to express in a few words.  I don't know if something like "we fight to end poverty" would work.  Equality is a nice word to use in any case especially since I think they are going for equal access to education.

The Troll has expressed to me that he wants a dog.  I tried not to laugh out loud in the store, but he's not getting one.

We have a poor cat at work that was relinquished.  Poor thing is soft in the head because the family's son abused it.  He is sweet.   But has some odd behaviors like repetitions that are very odd for a cat. I wish I could provide him with a forever home.  Makes me sad.
