Merely part of our fun Tuesday, whoopee for we man:

 

Nearly finalized deal with fence co. to replace gates at rental casa & actual casa, dicker we man.

Began preparing mandatory preapproval package required by terroristic r-casa HOA, fear all ye man.

Get call from Mrs. T-B.:  "The handyman has finished replacing the gate at the r-casa!"

 

We go aysheep, rightfully we man.

Mrs. T-B.:  "But you said that he could replace it for the $Many!"

We:  "After HOA approval,  man!  Haven't you learned anything, ADD you man?!"

Mrs. T-B.:  "I don't remember discussing any of that."

We [to self]:  man

We go double-aysheep, we man.

 

We query Mrs. T-B. about nature of job, query she we man.

Mrs. T-B.:  "It was an exact replacement, like you wanted.  All pine."

We go Manyple-aysheep, rightfully we man.

We:  "The pickets are supposed to be cedar,  man!!!!"

Mrs. T-B.:  "He said they were pine.  What's 'pickets'?"

We go Manyruple-aysheep, rightfully we man.

We:  "It's always been cedar!  Tell him to stop what he's doing!  He'll have to tear down the pickets, waste of money man!"

Mrs. T-B.:  "What's 'pickets'?"

We [to self]:  man

 

We (now Manytuple-aysheep) urgently get on phone to HOA Terror-Compliance honcho, straight to top we man.

He readily accepts bribe offer of Many pre-owned toilet seats if pine pickets are replaced with cedar, no problem man.

This is all drama that we didn't need, no need we man.

As one bright element, our fence co. will replace actual casa's gate at slightly reduced rate, seemingly take pity on we man.

After the r-casa comes remodeling of actual casa's kitchen, week of chaos man.

Going to have to cook over Bunsen burners in the bathroom, sigh man.

No, it came on very suddenly.  I'm 95% sure it was mastitis now.  The temp must have killed off the infection and I've been breastfeeding and pumping that side like a fiend so today the pain is controllable with ibuprofen.  I'm not a big believer in the over-prescription of antibiotics, so I'm glad I didn't need to call the doctor.
