No one inquired about our welfare, no man.

Well, successful business typhoons don't need to go on welfare, no man.

Accordingly, it's dumb to inquire about our welfare, :bonk: man.

Local news pluralized a noun by adding an apostrophe.  *barf*

I'm wondering why seemingly educated people keep doing this?  It is grammar 101 and I'm seeing the mistake made more and more.  I'm sure I would have gotten a big old F on an English paper if I had made a mistake like that throughout.

In other news, I'm completely drenched in sweat.  It seems like my fever finally broke.  I went from feeling like I was sitting in an ice bath and nothing would warm me up to completely on fire.  I hope the baby isn't going to get this and it is just mastitis or something.

Also am sick but no fever.  Just a sinus infection or cold I think. Nose isn't stuffed up but my sinuses feel full behind them. I could taste the postnasal drip last night.  I rarely get sick so I'm like a guy when I first get it.

Definitely skipped the gym today.

Gonna buy some OJ on the way to work today, use hand sanitizer, and try to not infect anyone else.

Oscar had a good day yesterday, seemed to be better so I gave him some chicken and scrambled eggs but he's had bloody diarrhea and is back to how he was over the weekend

We're going to the vet at 3:30 :(

Ontarklar should invite us over for an egg-tossin', chicken-fricasseein' weekend, hootenanny man.

Well I'm tempted to get some meat birds. So about 6 weeks after I get them. Well if I get them, they would need a different coop then the others.

You would not believe how many doctors can't spell worth a darn. When I was in nursing the teachers would give me a hard time out not being in depth enough with my notes and spelling. I looked at her and told her the doctors don't want the song and dance they want us to get to the point. Plus all the nurses notes in the actual hospital had worse spelling then me.

I hope you feel better soon and the little ones don't get sick too.

Sorry Tbone I missed most of the last few pages. hope all is well.

I wanted to update with all that went on with the Tornado and the school.

We took her out and we had 14 day waiting period waived to homeschool. The group of kids were only suspended for 3 days. We also found out that the main boy not only has been chasing the Tornado around the playground to shove her down but another child told her that the boy wants to kill her.

We went down to the school board, we still are waiting for the main women to contact us. We did talk to student affairs (I think) about the reasons why we took the Tornado out of school. Explain that this is beyond picking on another child that this is terrorizing. I explained that when we withdrew the Tornado from school we didn't see the Principle so he is not aware of the new information about the girl telling the Tornado how main boy is going to kill her. The student affairs guy was going to be calling the Principle to let him know about that also.

We talked to her teacher, sadly she will miss the Tornado  and apologized how far things went. She probably said more then she should but nothing we didn't know. She also mentioned a few schools that would be a better choice if we wanted to start her back next year. We found out that today they are separating the boys from the girls at recess because another child in 5th grade has also been having issues. It got so bad that over the weekend something happened on IG. That is what brought on the splitting up the girls from boys.

Not sure what I want to do. The Student affairs guy said although the deadline has past if we want to get her special permission he can look into what school has room for grade 2. At this point I don't know what I'm doing for next year. She is safe at home and I can finally breath and think.

I feel like journalists should be masters of the written word, though.  Everyone else gets a free pass. ;)

I have a few childhood friends who became doctors and one of which I would have classified as a great person, but probably the least academically gifted of our class.  I think what matters is if you are good at your job.

I ran around all morning, drop the kid off, drop the wife off, go to bank, go to BJs, I was starving by noon.

Ate like a pig in a restaurant, finally got to the office around 2.

I'm so flustered that I totally forgot what I was gonna do today...

And how many times does 1 person have to be told not to vape in the office?

Does he know that he's about a half a puff away from the unemployment line?

And why do I have to hear about this? Are there not 3 other bosses here?

I've just been on the phone with my flatmate in Auckland. They had one heck of a storm last night. She admitted to being quite frightened, which is unusual for her. She said the front of the house, in the lounge where she was sitting watching the telly began to shake quite heavily. They clocked the windspeed off Manukau Heads at 213 kph in gusts, with a mean wind speed of 126 kph. That's nuts.

In the end, when the light fitting in the ceiling began to vibrate, she propped at kitchen chair up against the telly to keep it from toppling over, took her little dog, and retreated to bed. She didn't get a lot of sleep, given the crashing of trees and bits of lumber hitting the house outside. The neighbors one over had a large pohutukawa tree fall into their study.

She's no power of course, so I sent a message to a mate of mine who is on duty today to go check on her and take her a thermos of tea. She said she was a bit surprised when the ambulance jeep turned up in her drive, but she's fine. Hatches battened for the next go round.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
