Above freezing! Might even see the sun today :)  Rained all afternoon and evening yesterday.

 

The Husband has his first appointment here in town with the local VA. I hope to heaven they are better than the one we've left behind. Concerned already, as in the last 2 weeks they have made and canceled 4 appointments. I'm not sure why vets from this town are sent to Fayetteville 72 miles from here, as opposed to Fort Smith which is about 39 miles. I'll be interested in the answer to that one. He's got a lot of complex medical issues, which are generally outside the scope of the local clinics, so we will be making that drive quite a lot. He will still have to go to TN once a year to the transplant clinic.

 

For the first time today, we will be leaving the dog here on her own. I hope she behaves herself. She's going to be unhappy any road, for I am about to give her the mother of all haircuts. All that frippery the MIL liked, the long trailing 'feathers'  and the show cut, is going. She doesn't need it, it's a magnet for leaves and grass and it wicks up water like nobody's business, so she's getting a puppy cut. I wanted to wait until the temperature was above freezing before tossing her in the sink. She hates baths, hates em.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
