I'm totally cheating here. Snowball my Silky is not the broody Silky sitting on eggs. She wasn't broody but Silkies are one of the best moms so I took a chance she might want to adopt some babies. She looked around a few minutes and then sat down.  Babies slowly started finding their way to her and  she tucked them all under her.

My father used Silkies to sit on his hawk eggs  (he's a falconer and his hawks wouldn't sit on them). Silkies will literally sit on anything  (even something that may kill them later).

I went to Texas for spring break  (San Antonio) and am just now recuperating...I am too old to drive in Dallas.....but so far we  (the Mr and I ) have survived the road trip  (even with the "speed limit it 70, not 74" comments).

It was by far the most dreadful and boring lecture I've sat in on in centuries.....

7 hrs of power points highlighting moronic, unscientific, and some rigged research. 

I'm like "Who the F are these people doing these researches??"

There is no literature for me to review. 

In the end, it was time and money wasted, and I can't remember 1 single thing about it. 

And definitely didn't learn anything new.
