Other random factoid: our town becomes about 10% Manitoban over the summer, but you'd never know because they sound exactly like Minnesotans.

I was reading about it. They use hard wheat and that makes a big difference and that is what Canada uses too. I have to buy bread flour here just to get the right protein for my baking AP flour sucks here.

I know they sell it in Walmart up here, I wonder if that is true nationally.

I'm totally cheating here. Snowball my Silky is not the broody Silky sitting on eggs. She wasn't broody but Silkies are one of the best moms so I took a chance she might want to adopt some babies. She looked around a few minutes and then sat down.  Babies slowly started finding their way to her and  she tucked them all under her.

The Dane wanted to volunteer me to be a temporary bookkeeper at his job.  That sounds like not the best idea.  I know that I know quickbooks, have taken accounting classes, and am this close to getting a math degree...but it is his workplace and if I mess up their books it would be bad.

 

 

Who am I kidding?  That is how I feel about working in general.

I think my officer manager was upset that I decided not to apply for the CSR lead job at this point in time.  Hubs is annoyed.  But i don't feel i know my job well enough to teach it to others.  If I dont have confidence in myself, others will find it hard to have it in me too.

I'll say this from my decades of experience...

I take whatever opportunity comes my way with confidence, and I learn it as I go. 

I didn't know anything about leading, or managing people when I was younger man. 

Few people will be a natural at this. 

And no one is a natural at their scope of employment. 

You recall I often rant about me not knowing Business administration...

OSHA issues, risk management, etc...

And I'd go take courses for it....

Point is, I'd go for it, and then I pick up where I'm lacking.

During this Spring recess, I printed out last years State Common Core test for the kid to practice.

She's batting a hundred so far after 3 passages....

Test is next week.
