Received a reach out from a recruiter last week which was kind of cool. Not your typical recruiter who is just looking for resumes so that they can place joe schmoe in a job and collect a commission. This was a recruiter who works in a different state for a state agency that is analogous to the one I work for in NM. Wow, a state agency actually employs a person to find better qualified people than you can get from your standard Indeed.com ad. How novel!

Anyway... I haven't been looking for a change of job nor a change of location but it's nice that someone can look at my Linkedin profile and see someone who they'd like to interview. It was easy to apply online so I guess we'll see what happens.

That's always good to hear that a recruiter actually did their homework for once and not just a blind email out about a job. That's one thing that I really hate about LinkedIn is that I used to live in CA and I now live in NC, and I get emails from recruiters all the time talking about jobs in the Los Angeles area that I am a good fit for. Sorry I moved out of CA for a reason if you want me back you have to pay top dollar and relocation, I am not going to pack up and move for around the same pay as I left.

Did I just hear rain and snow? This Friday?

Yes I did...

This winter is getting to me. Very frustrating.

Not a single day of great weather for over a month.

I normally have very good psyche. But I just don't feel like doing ####.that's how I know, this winter got the best of me...

It is going to be a late start to the vegetable garden too, which is a bummer.

We still have 12-18 inches of snow outside, with drifts over a couple of feet.   I didn't even hide Easter eggs this year because it was so chilly and snowy.

Our local library got a SAD lamp this year.     My summer tires have been sitting outside the back door for almost two weeks.

Done.  Just done.

You could have hidden plain white eggs.  LOL

Nice try there.  I don't want my yard to smell like rotten eggs when it finally melts.  :energy:

The Dane borrowed my car today.  He got a big rock chip in my windshield.  Then, he wanted me to take care of getting it fixed.

Be a good wife and do it, si Nola-B. ma'am.

Around our casa, we have a saying, see man:  Es el trabajo del esposa (it is the job of the wife), si man.

Of course, the response always is "The maid has left -- do it yourself," insouciant she man.
