What terrible little children.  Is she ok?

Are you going to homeschool then?

She's doing better now. She was having nightmares of them "cooking the meat off her bones for spaghetti" and that broke my heart she was bawling her eyes out and I couldn't get out of her what was wrong until later that day.

Yes I'm going through the new changes to see what's different from when I homeschooled the older kids. There is a 14 day wait to before they approve it and then there would be o nly a few weeks left after that until the end of the year. As long as those kids keep away from her I just start it in the fall. I looked into other schools but it seems there is the same issue at them too. I am done taking chances with my child's life. Since we can't move out of this hole of a city I will do homeschool. You would think the huge amount of homeschoolers in this area would be a clue how bad things are but nope they just want to bury their heads.

According to BBC news the murder rate in London is worse than New York :(

I worked in the yard over the weekend trying to get the brush into burn size pieces. Got a fair chunk done but also managed to rip my arm to bits and get sunburnt

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

We also don't have people going around doing acid attacks on people either.

Nope

Goes to show that if someone wants to kill/maim they will, the lack of legal guns doesn't seem to deter them any.

New York's murder rate is pretty low, even for an American city.  The police and former mayor did a fabulous job cleaning up the city.

Minneapolis's murder rate is higher.  I guess Minnesota Nice doesn't extend to the cities.

I don't get why this is still going on.  Is it inept policing?  Lack of gun owners to shoot them in the face on the street?

It reminds me of the child rape rings that went on forever in the Northern part of the UK with the government doing almost nothing about it.

You are definitely making the right choice by removing her from that environment.  It is good that you are already staying home so that it will be a smooth transition.

I don't know why either I know there for a while it was happening to random people and even a pregnant woman at one time. Usually you see something like that in the big city against homeless or something like that like it's crimes of opportunity.
