We have a bazillion of these big plastic storage totes, now empty* thanks to my push towards minimalism.  You guys want any?  They're only slightly stained from my tears over getting rid of cute toddler dresses.

 

*Still feel like we might have 30 full ones.

Renters moved out of the r-casa today, bye man.

Very sorry to see them go, quality people man.

They left the r-casa as spotless as humanly possible, wow man.

They even replaced the A/C filter, dig THAT man.

How different from their predecessors, pity their current landlords we man.

2.  I'm not obsessive like that.

4.  Now that the possibility is going to cease, yes.  It is kind of weird to be closing the book on that phase of our lives.  I told the Dane cute toddlers isn't enough of a reason to have another; they eventually become hormonal and defiant pre-teens. 

5.  My basement is something like 1400 unfinished sqft. We have a lot of shelves, which are now finally emptying out a little.

This new baby is such a mini-me.  

 

Poor kid has to have his nose sucked out every single day.  Today, he's sick with the minor cold we all have and I keep having to suck it out.  Welcome to a lifetime of sinus hell, kid.

My Mum is poorly, nothing major but a bad tummy bug and she's nearly 80 & lives alone. 

I'm over here, my sister lives at the other end of England & usually my niece keeps an eye on mum and is close by if she needs anything but niece is in Portugal at the moment and mum is feeling her age and worrying about being on her own.

I just had to beg my brother who lives 20 mins away to check in on her :(

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Wow! Our whole house is 1400 sqft. Not complaining, though. Utilities are less. Less space for the dog to destroy. Easier to clean (after the dog destroys the place on a regular basis).

Our actual house isn't much bigger than that, I think it is around 1500-1600, it just has a basement under the whole thing.  We have 5 people in ours, though.

We'd also have a massive attic with high ceiling that had been used as a sleeping area in the past had it not been filled with feet deep of blown-in insulation.  🙄

Our utilities are pretty minimal.  Even in months that it is consistently below 10°F, our highest bill has been maybe $370 and that includes gas, electric, water, sewer, and trash.  Our basement is heated and cooled, but to a less degree.
