I was bleedin' at the accountant...

 

My ###hole sister...

Shysters my mother to cash out her IRAs when I was in Disney. She take the money. No-one tells me ####. 

 

Now I'm filing, I discover this.. 

1- I lose my mother as a dependant, because her income for 2017 is too high. 

2- I had to file for her, paying the tax she owes, to the tune of over 2000. 

3- and I had to pay the accountant extra for a separate filing. 

 

Who's got my mother's money? Not me. 

Who pays her income tax? Me. 

Who loses out on the extra exemptions? 

Me, again. 

 

Yes, I'm sending her a ###=##= bill!

 

I should have just fed ex her everything and said, "here, you take care of this!"

And likewise, I will never speak to my sister again. She's not a part of my family.

I used to take care of my sister to no ends. Until she met this schmuck. 

 

Here's 1 story (and the stories are endless). 

Back in 03, I had 2 apartments for rent. 

My sister said that her then BF and his brother would like to rent one. I said ok, 750 bucks. The going rate was around 1500. 

He goes to look at it, it was in shambles. So, he didn't want it. I was like, what does he expect for 750 bucks, 2 bedrooms in NYC? 

But what I didn't tell them, was that the apartments were getting renovated. 

And when the renovations were finished, she said, "oh my bf wants one of those apartments now". 

I said, "no". 

 

What happens next, changes things for good....

 

She gets one of her friends to pretend to be interested in the apartment. And attempted to have her rent it for the guy. 

I picked this apart, and had my sister's friend in tears, confessing to the plot. 

 

My sister. Conniving with her BF to scam me....

 

<sigh> 

 

I'll never forget.

Tbone did I read the carseat/booster seat laws right for Texas? 

 

Kids need to be 8 yrs old or 4'9" before they can be out of the booster seat? The kids are both still in carseat and booster so no biggy there. 

 

So here's my pet peeve about this being law not recommendation. Kids must be in a booster seat until 8 yrs old but they are old enough to ride on the back of a motorcycle before they can be out of a booster seat???
