Can't decide if pea milk is a winner or not.   It is in the lead.  It does have a lot of additives, which I'm not that keen on.

I could only find condensed goat milk at Target.  I wonder if maybe the natural food store has fresh goat milk.

We've got plenty of time it takes about 3 months to get the permit

I'm making him take me shopping to get something I am comfortable carrying and using - not something he thinks I should use 😁

That's the thing to do. I asked my Husband for suggestions for you, and he asked me to give you his ideas.  He knows more about guns than I do and gets asked for suggestions quite a bit.

"I recommend for  personal defense  any of the below pistols:

in .380 caliber (9mm Short)

1) Sig Sauer P238   This pistol comes in several models, depending on your tastes.  I carry the gloss black engraved version with tritium night sights.  It has a steel slide, an alloy frame and is very easy to use.  It is based on the 1911 Browning design used by the military for over 100 years.  It is a single-action only semiautomatic.  It works well as a pocketbook gun or carried over your appendix or the small of your back.  About $600-$800

in 9mm Parabellum (the typical NATO and police round of today)

1) The Smith and Wesson M&P Shield (or Compact) semiauto.  It is double action only.  It is a good weapon and a nice bra gun using an under bra holster. It can also be carried as above.  It may be a bit hard for you to load if you have weak hands or thumb.  Between $375 and $550.

2) Ruger LCP.  .380 or 9mm. Same as above, slightly more affordable.  Comes in pretty colors, too.  $200-$350

Revolver in .38 Special or .357 Magnum. (the common police revolver round)

1) Ruger LCR.  Nice light 5 shot revolver.  Easy to conceal, no external hammer to snag on clothes or stuff in your pocketbook.  Another nice under bra gun.  Double action Only. or Single and Double action, depending on the model.  Some models can fire either, 38 Spec or both .357 and .38 spec (it is slightly heavier and more spendy.  $400-$550

I suggest buying your weapon Online.  I use gunbroker, com   It is cheaper than most other sites and much cheaper than a retail store, you have more choices and the seller will ship the gun to your local gun store.  Totally legal and all background checks will be done before you can pick up your weapon from the store.  It is an auction site very much like eBay, only for guns and accessories.

By all means, shop at your local gun store or range and handle the guns.  Some ranges will rent you guns to shoot and give you lessons.

Look on Youtube to see videos of women using and evaluating these guns and methods of carrying."

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Tell your hubby thanks very much :)

Redneck shoots in competitions and has a collection of all types and believes he knows what I should use (and he may be right) but I want to be comfortable and confident in whatever I carry - I hope I never need it but if I do I want to be 100% comfortable with it in my hand :)

VPNs are much easier on the computer.  I've used a few over the years to get Danish/British tv.
