I so badly need to be out in the country. The Hillbilly should have known better to buy in the city. All he was thinking is the drive to and from work for him.

My husband keeps trying to convince me to move to a house outside of town or buy a lot and build.  I'm not sure that is really for me.

He got a raise at work this week and the boss has been talking about maybe passing the business to him one day... I know at some point we'd need to either build a large shop/garage off the back of our house or do this, but I'm not looking forward to the $$$ associated with it.

It doesn't help that one of his friends just sold his house in town and moved to a small farm right outside of it.  😑

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I take after my father, the farm life is always what I dreamed about.

It would be a big adjustment  and depending  what your husband has in mind for that land it may not be your cup of tea. I know my sisters would go BSC if they ended up on a farm for more then 5 minutes.

That is promising, he may be able to buy a shop type of building rather then doing it all at home.

Saturday GS report, see man:

We are very glad that we went out of town for GS-ing, si man.  Maybe our local absence will jolt the local losers into holding worthwhile GSs, poetic justice man.

Up before sunup, early we man.

Hit road only half an hour later than planned, ahead of power curve we man.

Little traffic and no visible constables, made good time man.

We must have hit two Manyzen GSs in this tiny town that barely has a comma in its population figure, density man.

We have never seen so many clothes or products for infants/toddlers, bonanza of a smorgasbord man.

Nola-B. would have up-cleaned, as would Ontarklar if Ontarklar would fire up the oven again, :bonk: ma'am.

The take, see man:

-- Many (2+2+2) blouses for Mrs. T-B.; dress-socks; 2 dress-shirts = $Many ($2x2x2+2), OK man

-- sweatband = $1, rather a rip-off man

-- small stapler = half-of-half a buck, OK man

-- dress-shirt; Under Armour sweatband; 2 packs cocktail napkins = $2, steal man

-- Many (2+1) shirts for Mini-B.; swim-trunks for Mini-B. = $Many ($2+1), OK man

-- huge box of half-sheet laser labels = $1, steal man

-- book for Mini-B. = Many cents (2x2x2+2 cents), deal man

-- pack of luncheon napkins = Many cents (2x2x2x2-1 cents), steal man

-- Many (2+2+1) tubes of Avon "Silicone Glove" hand-cream = $Many ($2x2x2+2), steal man

Total = $Many ($2x2x2x2x2 - 2-2 - half a buck)

We greatly enjoyed the Texas country roads, the small-town friendliness, and the simple "getaway" factor, si man.

We lunched at a large, insanely busy country cafe and were in & out in surprising time, wow man.

Our itinerary had us working our way back toward the casa, but we got tired and decided to skip the later stops, weary we man.

However, we passed by a resale shop where we sometimes go, treasure-hunt man.

We saw an executive-style office chair* that we tried out, perfect man.

Almost no wear, and moving parts recently oiled, obvious man.

Bought it for $Many ($2x2x2x2+2+2+tax), steal man.

Staff helped us get it into the T-B.-mobile trunk, uplifting man.

Took it straight to the POTS office and reinstalled it, perfect man.

*manufacture date Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2) years ago, we kid you not man

Warshed the oak-pollen-covered T-B.-mobile on way back from POTS office, timely man.

Went straight to Aldi Foods, shopping-list conquered man.

Arrived at casa to find Mrs. T-B./Mini-B. already returned, beat we they man.

Fed outraged cat, overdue for soft glop miu man.

Asked Mini-B. how his trip was, inquire we of wee man.

He said, "That was a long trip," exhausted wee man.

Mrs. T-B. tired but happy, she man.

And, blessedly, her amiga had provided all the beach-towels, less laundry for us man.

Napped like a dead thing, oversleep late TV news man.

Played Wrappers with cat, needy miu man.

Conquered laundry/dishes, Saturday night routine man.

A good Saturday, si and whee and need zzz we man.

I helped my mom set up a wedding yesterday, but I left around 8 pm because I'm on antibiotics treating a UTI and I've been exhausted/not sleeping well.

It turns out she got drunk. Like, REALLY drunk, and puked all over her bedroom. My dad took care of her :D Poor mom.

She came to my bedroom hungover and asked me: whyyyy do people do this?

I don't know mom. I'm not a heavy drinker, and I don't even bounce back from a late night like I used to in my 20s, let alone one that involves drinking! hah.

What an interesting weekend.

Yesterday I completed my ccw certificate, have handed over a bunch of money and formally applied for my permit :)

Today has been spent burning (read attempting) 21 boxes of cheap & nasty laminate redneck had bought years ago and had kept 'just in case'

It's no good to anyone now but damn that stuff does not like burning!

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey
