Duh buke! as the locals pronounce it.

Only place I've ever been to where I saw a guy riding a bicycle and smoking a cigarette at the same time. I guess the guy was worried about his health and not worried about it, at the same time.

Buying cigarettes made him too broke to afford a car.

Meh. The Husband had a better look at where that tree landed. It did hit the roof on its way down.  He says there is a small area where the shingles are gone entirely.  I had a walk down the lane to get far enough away to see where he was pointing at, and he's right.  Insurance adjustor coming to look at it tomorrow. Been here just over two months, and may need a new roof.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

And me. I don't know the first thing about roofing, maybe they can just patch it up? I suppose that would look pretty odd though. :/

It'll depend on the damage but assuming it's not huge they should be able to patch it, the shingles look different for about a year but weather in eventually.

1.  Ah, the armpit of the state, yuck man... or is that Clinton?  What in heaven's name wert thou doing there, huh man?

2.  Versatility, si man.

Iowa joke, see man:

A new IQ-measuring computer was installed in the Student Union on the University of Iowa campus.  One would pay half-of-half a buck, stick in one's finger, and share Many (2+1) minutes of conversation with the computer on the basis of one's IQ.

First student goes up and pays his half-of-half a buck.  The computer says, "Beep beep!  Your IQ is Many (2x2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2x2x2) -- let us discuss Nuclear Physics."  They discuss nuclear physics for Many (2+1) minutes.  The time runs out, and that student leaves.

Second student goes up and pays his half-of-half a buck.  The computer says, "Beep beep!  Your IQ is Many (2x2x2x2x2x2x2) -- let us discuss Politics."  They discuss politics for Many (2+1) minutes.  The time runs out, and that student leaves.

Many'rd student goes up and pays his half-of-half a buck.  The computer says, "Beep beep!  Your IQ is Many (2x2x2+2+2)!  How about them Hawks?"
