Active Duty Military Spouse Citizenship Question

Hi,

My wife immigrated under the K1 visa program (we married in Sept 2015). She has her conditional Green Card and we are going to start to get her (normal?) green card soon.

 

my question is, since I am active duty military, when should we apply for her citizenship (due to it being accelerated).

 

my next question is, if I separate from the military, do we lose the “accelerated” status and she has to wait the standard amount of time.

 

I apologize if I am unclear on my verbiage. Bottom line is I want to know when she needs to begin going through the steps for citizenship.
