How should I handle one-letter names on forms like I-129F?

I'm working on the I-129F for myself and my fiancee now.  Her parents have South Indian-style names.  Her mother's last name is her father's first name.  Her mother spells out the whole name on her Facebook profile, but legally, that name is just the first letter.  Is writing "K", instead of the name that it stands for, on forms like I-129F going to cause any problems with RFEs and the like?  Should we write it as "K." even though legally it's just "K"? 

 

They don't use a native alphabet (theirs would be Tamil script) to write their names, just the English alphabet.

You should always enter the legal information, that will for sure cause problems if you don't

Last I checked, Facebook wasn't a good source.  How is the name spelled on her government ID?  That would be your first clue

CEAC status already says issued, I'm assuming its going to be a little longer till we can actually get a tracking number
