Hello,

My friend just showed me this wonderful website and  I thought I would ask about an issue I'm having.

I'm trying to get my visa expedited before the i130 is done being processed because I have had a serious injury that prevents me from working for over a year. I'm living off savings right now so I'm okay but that will soon run out and I have no possible way to make any money as I cannot walk and I don't qualify for dialsability.

I have applied twice and it was denied flat out because lack of proof after 6 days pass

The issue is that they told me I would receive a email with information where I can send the proof but both times I never got such an email.

Also I applied in september and still have had no updates about my visa status online. Is that normal? I have called several times but the uscis was no help at all either.

Really any information will be extremely helpful as im on my own trying to figure this out.

Are you the sponsor or the beneficiary?

What is the basis of the expedite?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Looks like your computer skills are pretty good and the disability doesn't prevent you from using one. Have you looked into a home-based job that doesn't require walking or standing? We employ someone at our office in a wheelchair. I saw that Amazon are looking for home-based customer service online chat agents.

An income or substantial assets will be required for the affidavit of support.

Timeline in brief:

With 2 previous denials, I would presume a third request would end the same way.

If you didn't get any emails for proof (they may not request any) and you're sure they aren't being caught as spam or something, then try a different email address with a different server. A gmail address should be fine.

It's normal. The I-130 is taking 6-9+ months in most cases (if not longer).

I'm sorry to hear about the injury.

I hope you have a joint sponsor lined up for the I-864.

I was going on the second choice of the expedite. "extreme emergency"

This is a catch-all and extremely rarely granted. The severe financial hardship category sounds more likely (although as stated, I doubt an expedite is in the future).
